Background: The transition from childhood to adulthood is the stage of adolescence. This period is marked by a number of biological, cognitive, and emotional changes (Muljati et.al, 2016). Menstruation experienced by young women every month and consumption patterns that sometimes go on a diet so that less iron intake can meet their needs can cause anemia (Martini, 2015). According to Riskesdas data (2018), the prevalence of anemia in Indonesia is 48.9% with the proportion of anemia in the age group of 15-24 years and 25-34 years (Kemenkes RI, 2018). According to the Depok City Health Profile in 2017 the prevalence of anemia in adolescent girls was 34.5% of adolescent girls who had anemia (Depok City Health Office Profile 2017). The purpose of this study: to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of young women and exposure to information media on anemia prevention behavior. Method: This quantitative analytic study uses a cross sectional research design. The number of samples was 81 people at SMA Muhammadiyah 04 Depok. The results obtained by adolescents aged ≤16 years were 52 (64.2%) and> 16 years 29 (35.8%). 54 respondents (66.7%) lacked knowledge, 31 (38.3%) respondents had poor attitudes and 60 (74.1%) respondents had less media exposure to information media. Statistical test results on knowledge about anemia (p=0.621, p>0.05), attitudes toward anemia prevention (p=0.432, p>0.05) and media exposure to information about anemia prevention (p=0.796, p>0.05), it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship. Through health promotion about anemia prevention in adolescents expected to improve physical health and reproductive maturity of adolescent.
Jumlah penderita dan luas daerah penyebaran penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) semakin bertambah seiring dengan meningkatanya mobilitas dan kepadatan penduduk, terutama di daerah tropis dan subtropis. Tahun 2017 didapatkan data bahwa di Propinsi Jawa Barat, jumlah kasus Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) sebanyak 3.538 kasus dengan incidence rate sebesar 7,37 per 100.000 penduduk, termasuk kasus meninggal akibat Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) sebanyak 21 kasus dengan CFR 0,59%. Data kasus Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) di Kota Depok tahun 2016 meningkat dari tahun sebelumnya, dimana ditemukan sebanyak 2.827 kasus Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD), meninggal sebanyak 7 orang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan sanitasi lingkungan dan tindakan pencegahan dengan kejadian DBD (demam berdarah dengue) di Kecamatan Tapos, Kota Depok. Desain studi pada penelitian ini adalah cross sectional dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 210 keluarga di Kecamatan Tapos, Kota Depok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar responden yang tidak mengalami kejadian DBD memiliki sanitasi lingkungan yang baik, sebanyak 104 responden (67,10%) dengan p value sebesar 0,58 (p value > 0,05) artinya tidak ada hubungan signifikan antara sanitasi lingkungan dengan Kejadian Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD). Pada variabel tindakan pencegahan, sebagian besar responden yang tidak mengalami kejadian DBD juga memiliki tindakan pencegahan yang baik, yaitu 80 responden (70,18%) dengan p value sebesar 0,18 (p value > 0,05) artinya tidak ada hubungan signifikan antara tindakan pencegahan dengan Kejadian Demam Berdarah Dengue.
