The aim of the research is to present the design of a system which is capable for noise reduction on the reading of the tilt sensor data used in a balancing system on humanoid robots. Humanoid robot is a robot that has body construction like a human. Humanoid robots can make a movement by walking with both legs. In order to walk properly, humanoid robot needs to have a proper balancing system. The humanoid robot balancing system consists of tilt sensors, either an accelerometer or a gyroscope sensor, main processing unit and actuator in the form of servo motors on each robot’s joint. The tilt sensor is used to detect tilt angle of the robot body. When sensor gives information about the robot is in a position of tilt angle that will cause the robot to fall, the main processor will send commands to the actuators to do the balancing action so the robot will go to a balancing position. Unfortunately, the tilt angle reading value obtained from tilt sensor, still contain noise. That noise makes the reading of the tilt angle of the robot body to be inaccurate. Therefore, a filtering method is required to reduce the noise. In this research, complementary filter is used to overcome this problem. From the test result, the complementary filter is able to reduce noise on the tilt sensor data value reading. The optimum filtering result was obtained with the use of filter coefficient of 0.96 and sampling time of 50ms, where the average tilt angle error value is 0.775° on the x-axis and 0.691° on the y-axis. In another test, the robot is able to perform a balancing action based on the output of the complementary filter. So the robot was always able to maintain its position on balanced condition.
The use of technology in education is growing rapidly, some of which use augmented reality technology. Augmented reality is one type of technology use not only in education but also in other sectors because it is one technology that is quite useful in facilitating various human activities. However, the reality of the world of education today is that there are still many teachers who have not implemented and innovated the use of technology in learning. This study presents the implementation of augmented reality in wayang learning (WATER). Using augmented reality technology that can create a more real learning atmosphere so that children's interest in loving wayang culture appears. In implementing augmented reality applications, Unity3D and Vuforia tools are supported. This research was conducted by making a prototype of puppet learning media in the classroom. The results obtained, the learning media looks more attractive and the students spend more time with the application to explore the world of the puppet.
has been a wake-up call for many people. The internet as the easiest source of information has become a necessity. This does not only apply to governments and corporations, but also to schools. SD Hang Tuah 7 Surabaya is one of the educational institutions that never uses the internet. Therefore, SD Hang Tuah 7 Surabaya currently provides information by using a printed pamphlet filled with school profile, activities, achievements, enrolment details etc. Then distribute them manually to local communities in the hope of new registrants. Submission of this information has many shortcomings, and the school realized that the perceived benefits of the internet are big, for sharing information, giving great impression and school professionalism to the wider community. The implementation method started by identifying partner problems in adapting the technology, finding solutions to it, problem-solving by creating the website, mentoring and evaluation. The website will include several details of the school including: 1) school profile; 2) history; 3) educators' profiles; 4) education staff profiles; 5) school activities; 6) school achievements; 7) school enrolment; 8) school contact details; and 9) school online library. The existence of the Website for SD Hang Tuah 7 Surabaya will provide convenience to the public in the search for information, especially about the school profile and school admission details.
The rapid development of science and technology at this time has also spurred progress in various fields of life, including education, especially in providing good and quality services. Universities compete with each other to be the best in providing services. The applied informatics management undergraduate study program is one of the study programs that is being intensively cultivated in various fields, especially human resources, facilities and infrastructure, to be improved and become an accredited study program A. Association of Higher Education Informatics and Computers in Indonesia explained that there are seven informatics management study programs in Indonesia, none of which has been accredited with an A grade. Currently, the accreditation status of research study programs is good. Therefore, this study program prepares an operational plan which is the result of the elaboration of the strategic plan of the vocational program to support or strengthen the internal and external conditions of the informatics management program, so that this program can improve accreditation. The development method chosen is a quantitative methodology based on the philosophy of positivism to study a particular population and sample. This method is beneficial in analyzing data in several components of the operational plan, including Human Resources, Facilities, and Infrastructure and Research. This research also applies the agile education method, making operational plans more flexible and sustainable in setting targets. With these two methods, the baseline value parameter is generated as a determinant of the following target depending on the conditions of the study program.
