The advanced pedagogical experience testifies to the presence of a number of methods in the practice of teaching language disciplines used by teachers during profile training at school or other educational institutions. With the development of modern information technologies, the role of traditional methods of studying language disciplines in the educational process is changing to the advantage of more innovative (interactive) methods of studying language disciplines. Therefore, the purpose of the article is to investigate the peculiarities of the application of innovative methods in language disciplines during profile training implementation. To achieve the purpose specified, an academic paper uses a number of general scientific (method of theoretical analysis, method of observation, method of description and method of synthesis) and empirical (experimental method, modeling method and calculation method) research methods. The practical reflection of the state and dynamics of mastering language disciplines during profile training is demonstrated through: the efficiency level of the applied innovative methods of studying language disciplines; the dynamics of the average number of students, involved in studying foreign language per student at the level of higher secondary education; rating of the countries of European Union and Ukraine on English proficiency according to the Global rating of countries and regions; provisions of New Ukrainian School Concept. It has been established that in the countries of European Union the practice of studying language disciplines is based on the translation method, the method of meaningful and language integrated learning, the methods of using digital technologies and the method of using creative objects. The study has revealed that such countries of European Union, as Luxembourg, Romania and Finland have significantly high levels of foreign language proficiency; however, such levels of language command are significantly low in Greece, Denmark, Spain, Germany and Portugal. It has been established that Ukraine is classified as a country with a low level of English language command (proficiency) in the Global Ranking of Countries and Regions (according to data of 2019, 2017 and 2016) and a moderate level of English language proficiency (according to data of 2018 and 2015). The following types of innovative methods, currently used by teachers in language disciplines during profile training, have been summarized, namely: the use of information and computer technology in the process of language learning; the use of developmental methods in the form of dialogue, discussion, seminar or brainstorming; construction of the educational process in the form of a game, project, team game; introduction of creative and interactive tasks into the educational process.
The aim of the article is to study the academic mobility of students in the context of internationalization of education, exchange of experiences and gaining additional knowledge and skills between participants in the process of academic mobility. The research methodology is to use methods of questionnaires, surveys, interviews among students to study the prospects, advantages, disadvantages and opportunities of academic mobility. The results of the study cover the internal and external mobility of university students and provide an opportunity to assess the dynamics of quantitative indicators of international mobility. Factors influencing the academic mobility of students and graduate students are identified. The types of academic mobility that are the most common among university students are identified and the importance of academic mobility for the success of student learning and future career development is clarified. The internationalization of higher education stimulates the quality of education, the diversity of education, and the free exchange of educational resources. This, in turn, generates opportunities for students to experience a "global village" along with an appreciation for other cultures - one of the many "hidden" benefits.
The aims of the study is an empirical assessing the dynamic interaction of a teacher and a student at the HEI during a pandemic as an important component of the distance learning model, identifying methods and ways to ensure the integration of this component in the distance learning program for further use in the practice of HEIs. The methodology is based on the method of case analysis of the University of Oxford in the organization of educational activities during the pandemic following the Business Continuity Planning (BCP) framework. The results show that planning of crises should be used and, accordingly, scenarios for organizing educational activities should be developed for the effectiveness of the digital learning model and the provision of a dynamic online environment. It has been revealed that the University of Oxford’s Business Continuity Planning (BCP) framework provides insight into the current crisis. The next factor in the effectiveness of training at HEIs during a pandemic is the planning of training courses based on templates developed by the leadership of universities. Templates of hybrid, virtual, personal courses provide unified teaching and learning processes, greatly facilitating the interaction of students and teachers.
The article analyzes the effective electronic resources used in teaching Ukrainian as a second language. The authors highlight informational, educational, and controlling resources. Using electronic resources in the Ukrainian language teaching and learning process facilitates the development of an active vocabulary and critical thinking of the international students, lexical and linguistic competence, intensive study of phonetics, spelling, grammatical features of the language, and the diversity of the educational process. The significant effect of these resources in learning a foreign language is related to digitization and how it has affected the modern young generation, who cannot imagine their lives without varieties of gadgets. Mobile applications, which can be downloaded to any device, are designed for students to learn the lexical minimum, develop the correct pronunciation, improve their spelling and vocabulary, and practice making sentences. At the same time, the use of electronic resources when studying Ukrainian as a second language requires the students to be thoroughly self-organized and motivated. They are programmed only to reproduce a certain lexical or grammatical field, have no student-teacher or student-student feedback, aimed at checking the level of knowledge assimilation at a certain stage. Electronic resources should be used, under the control of a teacher, as a simulator for mastering the lexical minimum and grammar. These resources cannot replace communicative situations and speech cases, during which students actively use vocabulary and master speech constructions, and thus acquire lexical competence.
In research the authors outline the essence, methodological features and limitations, organizational difficulties and prospects for the applying of the method of event analysis in public practice. The authors also focus on research opportunities, the benefits of using the method of event analysis in the organization and conducting of applied sociological researches. The reseach has shown the method of event analysis as an effective tool in studying the causes of social phenomena and processes, their chronological development, the dynamics of devepment and other features. The authors also focus on revealing the role and importance of the event analysis method for training specialists in the field of social and media communications, in particular, in the context of forming their general and professional competencies, intensifying their scientific research in order student scientific community create its own innovative research.
