Social media addiction behavior is a problem that is quite interesting, especially among adolescents. Addiction involves psychological, physical, social and environmental components in which the individual cannot control addiction and raises various problems. It is undeniable that social media is misused by adolescents so that it can interfere with daily activities and also direct interaction with other people. Adolescents with poor family function, often use social media to tell stories or communicate with others. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family functioning and social media addiction behavior in adolescents. Measurements were made for 100 adolescents, with data collection techniques using a scale of family functioning and social media addiction behavior. The analysis technique uses SPSS version 21 with correlation test. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between family function and social media addiction behavior in adolescents (r = .03 p< .05).
Social media addiction is increasingly prevalent, especially among adolescents. There are many factors that make adolescents addicted to social media. Adolescents who are less assertive are more susceptible to using social media as an alternative to express their feelings or just communicate with others. This present study examined the relationship between assertive behaviors with social media addiction in adolescents. Participants (N=100) adolescents completed a measure of assertive behavior and social media addiction behavior. Data analysis technique was conducted by means of SPSS 21 correlation test. The results of this study show that there is a relationship between assertive behavior and social media addiction in adolescents (r = .01 p < .05).
Subjek yang terlibat dalam intervensi kasus keluarga ini adalah ibu dan anak yang memiliki pola interaksi yang kurang baik. Kondisi ini dapat dilihat dari anak yang berusaha menghindari ibunya. Asesmen yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan kuesioner pola asuh yang diberikan kepada ibu dan anak. Hasil asesmen menyebutkan bahwa terdapat kesalahpahaman antara hubungan interaksi dan komunikasi yang terjadi antar ibu dan anak. Teknik intervensi yang digunakan untuk memperbaiki pola interaksi dan komunikasi tersebut menggunakan solution focused therapy (SFT), kegiatan tersebut berjalan selama 6 sesi. Hasilnya menunjukkan terdapat perubahan, dimana terjalinnya pola interaksu yangpositif antara ibu dan anak.
Bullying regularly occurs within the school environment and has a serious impact on its victims. Children who receive repeated negative treatment can develop a psychological problem, which is low self-esteem, which causes children to withdraw from their social environment. This study aims to determine child-centered play therapy (CCPT) to increase self-esteem (bullying). The study design was an experimental pre-test post-test control group design. Subjects that participated in the study were 20 children victims of bullying with an age range of 9-11 years. The instrument used in this study was Rosenberg Self Esteem (RSE). The data analysis used non-parametric with Wilcoxon test and Mann Whitney test. The results showed that child-centered play therapy (CCPT) could enhance self-esteem in bullying victims' children.
