Science and technology development causes a lot of changes in any fields including the form of popular games among the Junior and Senior High School students in Indonesia.The traditional games that are famous formerly have been replaced by the modern games like online video game.This article discusses the cause and effect of the online video game playing on the Junior and Senior High Schools students in Malang.This study reveal that students play video games online due to peers pressure; and online video games are liked because they are considered more modern, practical, realistic and varied. Initially, students play online video games to relieve the fatigue due to studying at school, but subsequently, they are becoming addicted, and reach a condition that they find it difficult to stop playing games.This condition will directly affect their achievement in school.
Tokkatsu: Initiating students' collaborative activities in lesson study piloting school. Objectives: This study aims to look at the best practices of tokkatsu implementation in familiarizing students' collaborative learning activities. Methods: This qualitative descriptive study was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah 4 Batu during July-December 2018 involving 31 subjects in grade V. The method was divided into four stages, including building basic student relations, relationship development, student learning methods, and integration of learning patterns into subjects. Data collection using observation and interview techniques, then analyzed qualitatively. Findings: The results showed that tokkatsu was able to initiate and stimulate students collaboration. Strengthening collaboration is carried out by reformulating ways of learning and habit of asking questions as the foundation of collaborative learning. Conclusion: The results of this study are used as a basis for improvement and strengthening of lesson study activities in schools.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dampak ekonomi penutupan lokalisasi Semampir di Kota Kediri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ada tiga, yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah secara ekonomi penutupan lokalisasi berdampak negatif bagi kehidupan masyarakat. Penutupan lokalisasi membuat pendapatan sebagian masyarakat Semampir menurun. Penurunan pendapatan hanya dirasakan oleh orang-orang yang bergantung hidup pada lokalisasi.
Social science is a common subject given at every level of education. The Social Sciences junior high school curriculum is taught in an integrated manner to facilitate students' social science learning that is important in everyday life. Unfortunately, there are many obstacles encountered in social studies in practice, one of which is the lack of interest and enthusiasm of students in learning social studies. It makes students unable to grasp the importance of social studies. This research conduct on students and teachers of the Junior High School Laboratory State University of Malang. This study aims to analyze non-enthusiasm students in social classes learning. This research conduct using descriptive methods with survey research. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation data collection tools in observation guidelines and interview guidelines. This study's informants were 17 students taken at each grade level and supported by three informants from social studies teachers who were selected purposes study indicates that UM Lab junior high school students' unenthusiastic behavior when learning social studies is reading comics, singing, drawing, chatting, and joking with friends. The factors that cause it are the amount of material and assignments in modules that must be memorized and memorized. Students are dizzy and confused. It has an impact on their understanding, which is less related to social studies material.
The ability to interact and adapt to other human being is a crucial thing that humans must have. The development of information technology today has changed the form of interaction between humans. In universities it is known that the existence of modern communication media has made students no longer trained to interact face to face. Smartphone and social media is makes easy for students to interacting online. This make they prefer to do group assignments by online rather than meet in person. Through social media, students share, discuss material and complete reports on assignments together through online interaction. The lack of face to face interaction among students raises concerns because without the abilities to interacting offline, student will having dificulties to adapt with different person in the future. This paper will discuss implementation of Tokkatsu to build face-to-face interactions between university students. "Tokkatsu" is a common activity carried out in Japanese schools to build students' social emotional abilities. This article outlines what benefits students get from implementing Tokkatsu in their classrooms. By this reseach will be discussed, is Tokkatsu activity needs to be carried out further in other class. This paper will discuss the experience of carrying out "tokkatsu", a non-academic activity at university level.
