Supervision is imperative for the improvement of the school education quality. In doing a supervision the supervisor should pay attention to the process, effectiveness, the system, the information,the evaluation, the principles, the programs, and the objectives, and the clinical model.
The Hindu community in Bali has a very high sesnse of tolerance. The teching of Hinduism have never discriminated against human, be it in terms of etchnicity, religion, race or culture. Hinduism teaches human to be able to live in harmony with fellow human beings. Maintaining harmonious humah relations or ini Bali it is called pawongan, manifested by public awareness which has indirectly manifested multicultural values in society. Abstract. The significance of character education has becoming an appealing issue to be discussed. Its significance has been brought to school through a number of practices. In fact, character education is not merely the result of schooling but this is a widespread from integration of character education in local culture. This present study attempts to explore character values contained within a local genius called subak pancoran. Further, this study is a qualitative study by utilizing ethnographic design. It was conducted in Buleleng regency, Bali. There are three ways that the researcher uses to collect the data, namely interview, observation sheet, and field notes. The subjects are selected purposefully. Accordingly, the collected data are analysed qualitatively. This study reveals that subak pancoran tradition emphasis on the following characters; tolerance, religious, democratic, communicative, hard work, responsible, mutual help, and environmental awareness. The children character development cannot be separated from the culture where children live and grow. The contribution of this study to the board of knowledge will also be added.

Hal ini mengingat kesenjangan atau disparitas mutu pendidikan antar lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia, antara sekolah di desa dan di kota, misalnya, sangatlah senjang. Hal ini dapat diketahui, saat ini ada sekolah bahkan yang telah mampu berkembang menjadi lembaga pendidikan berstandar internasional dengan menjadi sekolah nasional berstandar internasional, ada sekolah yang berstandar nasional, tetapi ada juga sekolah yang bahkan belum memenuhi standar lokal.. Dengan begitu, sejalan dengan upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan tersebut, dengan mempertimbangkan disparitas kondisi antar sekolah atau lembaga-lembaga pendidikan yang ada, baik pengambil kebijakan maupun pelaksana atau praktisi pendidikan di lapangan, dari pusat sampai ke daerahdaerah, tentu membutuhkan acuan bagi upaya pengembangan standar pendidikan yang dapat dijadikan pegangan oleh semua pihak
Dharma is a principle of life that every human being must own. Dharma in the form of behavior is called Susila (ethics). Komunitas Ekspresi in every activity always emphasizes and instills ethical values in children. From a conceptual point of view, the internalization of ethical values in the Komunitas Ekspresi is similar to Hindu ethical values. This study aimed to describe the internalization of Hindu ethical values in the Komunitas Ekspresi of Sibang Kaja Village, Badung Regency. The research method used is qualitative with an ethnographic approach a la James Spradley. The technique for determining informants is purposive sampling following the ethnographic method. Types and sources of data are qualitative data types, while data sources are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Ethnographic data analysis techniques, namely domain analysis, taxonomic analysis, componential analysis, and analysis of cultural themes. The results of this study found that: 1) Internalization of Hindu ethical values found were: a) Law of Karma, namely children are taught to be responsible for what they do, b) Catur Guru, namely children are taught to respect four teachers, c) Tri hita karana, namely children are taught to establish harmonious relationships with God, fellow human beings and the environment, d) Catur Paramita, namely children are taught to apply the four ethical attitudes of noble character. 2) The inhibiting factors for internalizing Hindu ethical values include a) parental support, which is relatively low, especially in assisting in continuing the direction of teaching staff in educating children when they are at home, b) teaching staff whose number is still limited and c) facilities which are still classified as limited. 3) The impact of internalizing Hindu ethical values is the religious impact, the emotional impact, the impact of independent behavior, the impact of responsibility, the impact of self-confidence, and the impact of creativity. The conclusion is that the Komunitas Ekspresi teaches Hindu ethical values.
