The policy of regional autonomy in Bali has implications for the autonomy authority granted at the regency/city level regarding the establishment of tourism villages in each regency/city in Bali. The number of tourism villages in Bali has increased significantly over the past decade years totaling 154 tourism villages. Tourism villages have high opportunities in equitable development between urban and rural areas, hampering the flow of urbanization, creating new employment opportunities, and creating a appreciation for traditional professions cultivated by rural communities which are the main attraction (such as farmers, weavers, fishermen). This study aims to analyze the typology of tourism villages and the potential for developing tourism village in Bali.
Aktivitas dari paket wisata Kintamani masih terlihat monoton dan kurang bervariasi, sehingga perlu adanya kemasan paket wisata yang menggambarkan Batur Global Geopark Kintamani secara utuh. Rumusan masalah yang diangkat adalah (1) Apa potensi wisata yang dimiliki Batur Global Geopark Kintamani?, (2) Bagaimana model kemasan paket wisata Batur Global Geopark Kintamani?, dan (3) Bagaimana kemasan paket wisata Batur Global Geopark Kintamani menuju pariwisata berkelanjutan?. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, studi kepustakaan, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa model kemasan paket wisata Batur Global Geopark Kintamani sudah menuju pariwisata berkelanjutan. Produk wisata yang dihasilkan adalah wisata petualangan, wisata kesehatan, wisata pertanian, wisata sejarah geologi, wisata budaya, serta wisata pilgrim. Konsep Gunung Batur sebagai lingga dan Danau Batur sebagai yoni dijadikan center point yang menggambarkan kesuburan. Geotrail (jejak bumi) dijadikan indentitas dan disusun sebagai paket wisata musim panas (summer pacgake). Penyelenggaraannya berlangsung selama 3 hari 2 malam dengan nama Paket wisata Explorer Geotrail Batur Global Geopark Kintamani dan di bagi menjadi tiga rute perjalanan yaitu (1) Paket wisata Traditional Terunyan Village Culture Geotrail (2) Paket wisata Batur Mountain Trakking Geotrail dan (3) Paket wisata Chinese Temple Geotrail. Pelibatan masyarakat, pemerintah dan stakeholder pariwisata adalah upaya menuju pariwisata berkelanjutan di Kintamani.
This article is aimed to reinterpret the ritual of Ketupat War based on practical consciousness into reflexive consciousness to preserve agricultural tradition in Kapal Village, Badung Regency. This consciousness could be created by deconstructing the pragmatic materialistic perspective by promoting local knowledge Tri Hita Karana, philosophy on the harmonious relationship among human being, human and nature, and God. This research applied a descriptive qualitative method and structuration approach from Giddens to explain the ritual Perang Ketupat as reflexive consciousness. The research shows that the local people at Kapal Village interpret this ritual as practical consciousness without knowing the function and the meaning of the ritual. It means that ritual is only performed annually as a routine tradition. Therefore, reflexive consciousness needs to be nurtured through constructing the community`s awareness of this ritual as a tourist attraction, so that they can get the economic benefit (touristic meanings). In other words, tourism becomes a melting-pot producing space of the triple sections among nature, culture and tourism which is called Eco-Cultural Tourism Landscape (ECTL).
Biro Perjalanan Wisata (BPW) yang saat ini banyak tersebar di Bali merupakan salah satu sarana pokok yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh wisatawan sebagai konsumen dalam memudahkan melakukan perjalanan wisata. Sebagai produsen produk pariwisata tentunya BPW memiliki target untuk menuai keuntungan sebanyak-banyaknya. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan memahami pola- pola pembelian konsumen agar strategi, trik, dan pengualaran yang dikerahkan efektif dan efisien. Fenomena impulse buying pada era globalisasi ini marak terjadi, Indonesia sendiri menurut Nielsen.com menempati posisi 3 besar dalam jumlah konsumen yang melakukan impulse buying, setelah India dan Cina. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membeberkan faktor-faktor apa sajakah yang mempengaruhi impulse buying wisatawan domestik terhadap produk pariwisata BPW di Bali. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitaif melalui analisis faktor dan dikombinasikan dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui pendekatan emik untuk mengkonfirmasi ulang hasil yang didapat didalam analisis faktor. Hasil analisis faktor yang kemudian di re-confirm melalui pendekatan emik menunjukan bahwa terdapat 4 faktor yang mempengaruhi impulse buying wisatawan domestik di BPW Bali yaitu (1) faktor psikologi, (2) faktor kegiatan promosi, (3) faktor finansial, (4) faktor kekerabatan, dengan faktor yang dominan adalah faktor psikologi.
This research discuss, Chinese tourist preferences on cultural tourism product in Bali, and its characteristics. The aim of this research is to identify the characteristics and to determine how Chinese tourist preference on the cultural tourism product in Bali. The method of data collection utilized observation, questionnaire, literature study, and documentation. The result shows that the characteristic of the Chinese tourist in Bali from point of view tourists descriptor are dominated by Chinese tourist whose age are 25-44 years and their job as private employees who have married. Based on trip-descriptor are dominated by the purpose of their traveling to Bali are the holiday. Most of them got information from the internet, and arranged by tour package with the length of stay is 4-7 days in Bali. Preferences of Chinese tourist toward cultural tourism in Bali are in term of historical buildings prefered to Tanah Lot Temple, in term of historical places prefered to Bedugul, in term of traditional dances prefered to Barong Dance, in term of local food prefered to Suckling pig, in term of handicrafts prefered to traditional statues, in term of indigenous village tours prefered to the traditional village of Panglipuran, in term of Subak prefered to the Subak in Tegalalang, in term of cultural festival prefered to the Bali Arts Festival, in term annual ceremony prefered to have tour during on Nyepi day, in term pre-wedding tour prefered to wear traditional Balinese costume, and in term spa product prefered traditional Balinese massage.
