Sustainable consumption can be a way to minimize the environmental impact of the rapidly growing consumption phenomenon. However, sustainable consumer behavior changes depending on many different factors and determining these factors is very important for many disciplines. This study aims to determine the sustainable consumption behavior of consumers and the factors affecting this behavior within the framework of Planned Behavior Theory, which is used in many fields in the literature. The research was conducted within the framework of attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavior control as well as altruistic values variables added to the model. Research data survey method with Turkey/Kastamonu were collected from the consumers in the province. The questionnaire was adapted using previous studies, and its validity and reliability analysis were made. Research data were tested with Structural Equation Modeling, which is used frequently in social sciences and behavioral sciences. As a result; It has been revealed that the variables of Planned Behavior Theory, which are attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and also the altruistic values dimension added to the model have a statistically significant effect on sustainable consumption intention, and intention has an effect on sustainable consumption behavior. It was concluded that perceived behavioral control has no direct effect on sustainable consumption behavior. These findings have important consequences for a large number of individuals and organizations such as policy makers, scientists, environmental organizations, health organizations, and businesses.
This study was aimed to reveal the mediating role of nostalgia tendencies in the effect of E-Wom (Electronic Word of Mouth Communication) on Tourists' intention to visit UNESCO World Heritage City Safranbolu. The authors aimed to reveal the effect of word of mouth communication on the destination preference, as well as to determine whether the nostalgia tendency has an intermediary role during this communication. Survey method was used in the research as the data collection tool. The survey was administered to all travel lovers. A total of 402 people participated in the survey. In this research, the structural equation model was used to determine the mediating role of the nostalgia trend in the impact of E-wom on travel intent. Responses were analyzed with SPSS statistical software. According to the results of the research, E-wom has an impact on travel intention. The partial mediating role of the "nostalgia tendency" in "the effect of e-wom on travel intention" was determined. Comments and suggestions were developed depending on the analysis results obtained at the end of the study.
This study aimed to evaluate the holiday purchasing intentions of touristic consumers during the COVID-19 pandemic within the scope of the expanded TPB, which is empirically tested in very large areas in the disclosure of behaviors. In this study, in addition to TPB variables, fatigue variable was included. With the long-term nature and intensity of COVID-19, many people have naturally experienced some kind of physical or psychological fatigue. The impact of this fatigue caused by COVID-19 on the intention to buy holidays can be critical. In the first part of the study, holiday purchasing intentions, COVID-19 pandemic period, theory of planned behavior, and fatigue were explained. In the methodological part of the study, 389 people who were potential touristic consumers were surveyed. The data collected from the participants were measured by statistical analysis method, and the findings were reached.
Türkiye'de kahve tüketiminin Osmanlı'dan günümüze değişimi ile birlikte, kahve dükkanlarının da geçirdiği değişimlere değinilen bu çalışmada, Türk kahvesi tüketimi ile birlikte sayıları her geçen gün artan modern kahve dükkanlarına yönelik tüketicilerin tutumları üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu araştırmada, Türk kahvesi tüketimine yönelik olarak tüketici tutumlarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaca ek olarak modern kahve dükkanlarında Türk kahvesi sunumuna yönelik tüketici tutumlarının belirlenmesi üzerinde durulmuştur. Araştırma sonunda tüketicilerin modern kahve dükkanlarında sunulan Türk kahvesine yönelik tutumları ortaya konulmuştur. Araştırmada betimsel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmış olup veriler sosyal bilimler araştırmalarında sıklıkla kullanılan anket aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Araştırma 396 kişilik tüketici grubunun katılımıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda kadın tüketicilerin kahve dükkanlarına yönelik tutumlarının daha düşük düzeyde olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu farklılık düşük etki düzeyinde saptanırken, diğer demografik değişkenler açısından farklılığa rastlanmamıştır. Türk kahvesi ürünlerinin kahve dükkanlarında özenli ve geleneklere uygun olarak sunulduğunu düşünen tüketicilerin tutumları daha yüksek düzeyde bulunmuştur.
