ABSTRAK Pandemi Covid -19 mengakibatkan penyerapan susu yang dihasilkan oleh peternak sapi menjadi menurun. Hal ini karena banyak usaa mikro kecil menengah (UMKM) yang mengalami gangguan ekonomi (gulung tikar) sehingga susu sapi yang dihasilkan dibuang dan pendapatan dari peternak mengalami penurunan drastis. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pemanfaatkan susu sapi segar yang tidak terjual adalah membuat produk olahan lain dari susu yang memiliki nilai tambah baik dari segi khasiat maupun rasa, terlebih pada masa pandemik ini masyarakat cenderung mengonsumsi makanan yang sehat sehingga dapat meningkatkan imunitas tubuh. Kefir merupakan salah satu produk fermentasi susu yang mengandung probiotik dan sangat berguna bagi kesehatan tubuh. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam membuat olahan susu menjadi pangan fungsional. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada tanggal 3 dan 4 September 2020 di Desa Pandan Sari Kecamatan Ciawi, Kabupaten Bogor. Pelaksanaan kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar dan semua peserta berperan aktif baik pada saat pemberian materi atau praktik sehingga dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta. One of the effective methods for mineral destruction is by using microwave digestion. However, some parameters in the microwave manual book are different with AOAC method such as the volume of acid, temperature, and the length of destruction time (Δt). Thus, a validation for mineral analysis method of Fe, Zn, and Cu by using microwave digestion method is required. In this study, carbohydrate-rich samples such as rice and canned pineapple were being used for the validation of mineral analysis method of Fe, Zn, and Cu using microwave digestion. The parameters of this research include LOD, LOQ, LDM, linearity, precision, accuracy, and reproducibility. The accuracy result for Fe, Zn, and Cu mineral was found in the range of 75-120% with good precision value (% RSD <% 2/3RSD Horwitz). Based on the results, accuracy for mineral Fe, Zn and Cu found in the range of 75-120% with good precision value (% RSD <% 2/3RSD Horwitz). The regression curves of the Fe, Zn, and Cu minerals gave the value of R2> 0.990. For LDM values in the rice samples consecutively for Fe, Zn, and Cu minerals were 0,06; 0,07; 0,04 mg/L, while for the canned pineapple were 0,07;0,10;0,01 mg/L, respectively. The results of a modified method for minerals Fe, Zn and Cu analysis in carbohydrate-rich samples was not significantly different from AOAC (2012). Thus the method was acceptable to be used in laboratory analysis.
The purpose of this study was to determine the learning motivation of broken home students at SMPN 2 Kersamana. The approach used is a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. The subjects in this study were 2 students who experienced a broken home. Techniques in data collection are interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that broken home students were not only due to divorce but could also be due to lack of love from their parents, the death of one of our parents, so that it could have an impact on childhood, especially early adolescence, impacting their physical and psychological condition, including the academic development.Keywords: Broken home, Learning Motivation
The research aims to investigate feasibility eggshells as potential adsorbent to remove copper(II) ions from aqueous solution. Eggshells powder was characterized using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Effect of copper(II) initial concentration, adsorbent dosage, and contact time have conducted. The optimum adsorption condition obtained when 0.7 g eggshells applied to 50 mg/L copper(II) solution for 50 minutes. The maximum percentage of copper(II) removal was exceeded more than 85%. Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm model were applied to describe the equilibrium adsorption. Copper(II) kinetics sorption process was fitted to pseudo-second order model with a rate constant equal to 0.516 g/mg.min. The results clearly exhibit that eggshells powder can be effectively used to remove copper(II) ions from aqueous solutions.
Kombucha merupakan salah satu minuman fungsional yang memiliki aktivitas biologis seperti antioksidan, antimikrob, antidiabetes dan antiinflamasi yang dihasilkan melalui proses fermentasi teh dan gula dengan menggunakan kultur starter kombucha yang disebut dengan SCOBY (Symbiotic culture of bacbteria and yeast). Lamanya waktu fermentasi pada proses pembuatan kombucha akan mempengaruhi sifat fisikokimia dan berkaitan dengan titik kritis kehalalan Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perubahan yang terjadi selama proses fermentasi. Kandungan alkohol diuji karena dibutuhkan sebagai standar halal bagi konsumen muslim. Pada penelitian ini digunakan dua jenis teh yaitu teh hijau dan teh hitam. Hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa lama waktu fermentasi berpengaruh terhadap sifat fisikokimia (berat nata, viskositas, pH, kadar tanin, kadar asam tertitrasi dan kadar alkohol). Semakin lama waktu fermentasi akan meningkatkan berat nata, total asam tertitrasi dan kadar alkohol dan sebaliknya menurunkan sifat viscositas, nilai pH dan kadar tanin dari kombucha. Rata-rata kadar alkohol yang dihasilkan selama 12 hari fermentasi kurang dari 0,5% sesuai dengan standar LPPOM MUI tahun 2018. Kata kunci: kombucha; halal; fermentasi
