This research aimed to examine students’ views on using online applications, particularly Edmodo to do online assignments (e-assignment). This study was conducted at Universitas Muslim Maros in the English language education department. Eight students joined as the participants voluntarily. This research used qualitative research with a semi-structured interview method. Data were recorded then transcribed. The data then were analyzed using thematic analysis. The result showed that most participants were engaged to work on their assignments online. Positive views were given by the participants as they gained effective learning through the online assignment. However, some students felt the pressure when doing online learning. The big problems are a low internet connection and the use of timer features.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fenomena sosial dalam film Adagium karya Rizal Mantopani dengan pendekatan mimetik. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah film “Adagium” Karya Rizal Mantopani yang tayang di bioskop pada bulan Januari 2023. Data penelitian ini adalah fenomena sosial dalam Film “Adagium” karya Rizal Mantopani. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif yang dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan data, mendeskripsikan data, dan selanjutnya menganalisis data dari jenis data yang bersifat kualitatif untuk memperoleh data. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pedoman dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah tahap reduksi atau merangkum, menyajikan data, kesimpulan dan verivikasi hasil. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjawab pernyataan penelitian yaitu adanya fenomena sosial dalam film “Adagium” karya Rizal Mantopani yakni persahabatan, percintaan, kejahatan ciber, dan perjuangan membela negara yang sesuai dengan kenyataan yang sering dihadapi di kehidupan masyarakat saat ini. Persahabatan yang terjadi ditandai dengan menghabiskan waktu bersama, memilik rahasia, dan saling menolong. Percintaan terjadi antara Alenda dan Bian. Kejahtan Ciber yang mengancam data-data penting dan perjuangan membela negara dari serangan musuh.
Food is one of the basic needs for fulfilling human nutrition. Especially in traditional food, the Bugis people have a habit of symbolizing the cultural cuisine they prepare. The purpose of this study is to explain the meaning of culinary through the name and form of kaddoq minynyaq. This is a descriptive qualitative study that employs Roland Barthes' semiology approach. The data collection technique applied was an interview technique with the aim of obtaining public opinion regarding the customs and beliefs of the Bugis tribe and the application of documentation techniques to obtain cultural archives in the form of images. Data analysis techniques began with data classification and continued with Roland Barthes' significance analysis. The results of this study are process-oriented; through the rampa aroma that is smeared on the kaddoq minynyaq culinary, it is hoped that the secret, in this case palliseq, will not be known by other people who do not know the people who carry out the tradition well. Through the analysis of témpa-témpa and kaddoq, it is hoped that society can uphold awareness of good behavior and the value of unity in order to obtain harmonious relationships.Keyword : Bugis, Kaddoq Minynyaq, Meaning, Naming, Shape
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh perhatian orang tua siswa terhadap prestasi belajar Matematika siswa; (2) pengaruh minat belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar Matematika siswa Kelas VI SD Bontokamase Kab. Gowa Semester Genap Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas VI SD Bontokamase Kab. Gowa Semester Genap Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 yang berjumlah 31 orang tua siswa dan 31 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana untuk menjawab penelitian pertama dan kedua. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan perhatian orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar Matematika siswa Kelas VI SD Bontokamase Kab. Gowa Semester Genap Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 dengan nilai thitung > ttabel (2,896 > 2,045); (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan minat belajar terhadap prestasi belajar Matematika siswa Kelas VI SD Bontokamase Kab. Gowa Semester Genap Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 dengan nilai thitung > ttabel (2,558 > 2,045)
