The research aimed to find out the effect of the use of multimedia and the students learning styles on the students' achievement in social studies. The data were collected through surveys conducted at SMP Negeri 13 Mataram (public junior high school) for three months. The research involved 108 participants, systematically selected from the target population of 240 students. The data were collected through learning achievement test and then statistically analyzed using ANOVA. Research reveals that the use of multimedia effectively improved students' learning achievement in both visual and auditory learning styles. On the other hand, the use of conventional media did not show any significant effect on the students' achievement in both visual and auditory learning styles. The research findings suggest the teachers pay more attention to the use of multimedia in their classroom and take into account the students' learning styles.
This study aims to: (1) describe the great ways to manage archive at MTs Serang City, (2) describe the large-scale servive of educators in MTsN Serang District, (3) analyze wheter there are things related to archive management towards the quality of service of teaching staff at MTs Serang City and District. Analyze data by correlation method. Data was collected through a quetionnaires, interviews, documentations, and literatures. Population in this research is part of MTsN in Serang District and City, namely MTsN 1 in Serang City, MTsN 2 in Serang City, MTsN 1 Serang, and MTsN 3 Serang. The sample is 30 respondents from the sample with purposive sampling technique. Research result (1) the level of achievement of archival management of 83.45% is included in the excellent category; (2) the level of service quality of educators is 84.59% included in the excellent category; and (3) the contribution of archival management to the quality service of educatiors by using formula Product Moment is a 0.432. Determination coefficient of 19% which shows archives has an influence on the variable quality of service of educators by 19% and the rest by other factors such as facilities and infrastructure. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mendeskripsikan seberapa besar ketercapaian manajemen kearsipan di MTsN Kota dan Kabupaten Serang, (2) Mendeskripsikan seberapa besar kualitas layanan tenaga pendidik di MTsN Kota dan Kabupaten Serang (3) Menganalisis apakah terdapat kontribusi manajemen kearsipan terhadap kualitas layanan tenaga pendidik di MTsN Kota dan Kabupaten Serang. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode korelasi, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data utama menggunakan angket dan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, studi pustaka sebagai data tambahan. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah sebagian MTsN di Kabupaten dan Kota Serang yaitu MTsN 1 Kota Serang, MTsN 2 Kota Serang, MTsN 1 Serang dan MTsN 3 Serang. Sampel sejumlah 30 responden diambil dari populasi dengan tehnik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian (1) Tingkat ketercapaian manajemen kearsipan sebesar 83,45% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. (2) Tingkat kualitas layanan tenaga pendidik sebesar 84,59% termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik (3) Kontribusi manajemen kearsipan terhadap kualitas layanan tenaga pendidik dengan menggunakan rumus product moment terdapat hasil 0,432. Koefesien determinasi sebesar 19 % menunjukkan bahwa manajemen kearsipan memberikan kontribusi terhadap variabel kualitas layanan tenaga pendidik sebesar 19% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain seperti sarana dan prasarana.
<em><span>This Academic article discusses the implementation of self-regulated learning model in English Writing learning, especially on enriching writing skill. The discussion of this article uses many points of views of self-regulated model learners, such as Albert Bandura, Barry Zimmerman, Anananita Bramuci, Popa Daniela, and Ernesto Panadero. According to the authors' interpretation, the discussion shows several results. (1) English writing skills require serious effort and practice in formulating, developing and analyzing ideas, especially for second /foreign language learners. (2) The understanding of English language grammar and vocabulary is indispensable for second / foreign language learners. (3) The self-regulated learning model can increase the learning motivation because this model encourages students to acquire knowledge and skills on their own voluntarily; and (4) learners who have high self-regulated learning, will have good learning outcomes as well<span class="ShortAbstract">.</span></span></em>
