Interest in this research arises from one of the things that sometimes escape the attention, namely the gender tendency toward a major in college. This study used final teenage data at first year students at Yogyakarta State University to see how gender differences can represent aspirations for science and social-humaniora majors. Data were collected using a scale. Scale was distributed to 425 respondents by sampling propotioned cluster random sampling. Using the survey method we found that men dominate in the exact plane of about 62.5% and women about 37.4%. The opposite is shown in the non-exact plane dominated by women with a percentage of about 80.4% and about 19.5% of males. This difference is also supported by other factors such as the importance of achievement beliefs in the department, and gender stereotypes in the community that are still inherent. This research is expected to contribute to the literature on career development and can form the basis of the formulation of career guidance programs that can include attention to gender differences
Technological developments become familiar and have an impact on society. The Digital Industrial Revolution 4.0 has had a significant impact on people's lives, one of which is in the world of Education. So, leadership is needed that can adjust and take advantage of this technological development. At the school level, a principal becomes one of the important components in moving the wheels of Education in schools. Therefore, a school principal needs to develop a strategy in the face of changes in this Industrial Revolution 4.0. This study aims to find out how the strategies prepared by school principals in the face of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The method used in this study is qualitative location is the place of this study is SD Negeri 1 Kamarang, Greged District Cirebon Regency. Data collection techniques in this study use interviews, and observations, and involve documentation. The results of this study concluded that the principal in SD Negeri 1 Kamarang prepare five strategies in the face of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 including a) Improvement of the infrastructure in the field of ICT b) openness with the development of the digital era 4.0; d) process and result oriented; e) mastering the 4C formula, namely: critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the financial performance before and during the Covid-19 pandemic in automotive and component sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses financial ratio analysis by testing hypotheses using paired sample t-tests and using data collection techniques in the form of financial statement searches and literature studies. The results showed that there were no significant differences in the current ratio and debt-equity ratio between the period before the covid-19 pandemic and during the covid-19 pandemic, there were significant differences in return on assets and total asset turnover between the period before the covid-19 pandemic and during the covid-19 pandemic.Keywords: Covid-19 Pandemic, Current Ratio, Debt Equity Ratio, Return On Assets, Total Asset Turnover
Adolescents are required to be open and firm in expressing their opinions and thoughts to others without losing their self-confidence. However, the data shows that 3.69% still behave and speak dishonestly, 2.30% of students find it challenging to communicate. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between self-concept and student assertive behavior. This study uses a quantitative ex post facto method. The total population used is 101 students. The instrument used in this research is the self-concept scale and the students' assertive behavior scale. The reliability analysis using Cronbach's Alpha formula was obtained from the assertive behavior scale of 0.864, the self-concept scale of 0.894. This figure is then consulted with the product-moment table for N=34, with a 5% significance level of 0.339. The value of the coefficient of determination R2 generated is 0.284, which means that 28.4% of assertive behavior is influenced by self-concept, while the remaining 71.6% can be influenced by other variables not examined. BK teachers should provide guidance and counseling services according to the needs of students. Students who have a high category should be given individual counseling immediately. According to the needs of students at that time.
