Resumo OBJETIVO Conhecer as barreiras e facilitadores que as enfermeiras da Atenção Básica à Saúde encontram no momento da comunicação de notícias difíceis. METODOLOGIA Estudo qualitativo, descritivo e exploratório, com 15 enfermeiras de 10 Unidades Básicas de Saúde no sul do Brasil. A coleta de dados ocorreu no período de fevereiro a abril de 2017, através de roteiro de entrevista quase estruturado e áudio-gravadas. Os dados foram analisados conforme análise textual discursiva. RESULTADOS Barreiras: demanda; organização do trabalho; características dos usuários; e aspecto pessoal. Facilidades: privacidade; e estar na comunidade. O funcionamento da rede; a equipe; formação profissional; experiência profissional; aspecto pessoal; e conhecimentos encaixaram-se em ambos os aspectos. CONCLUSÃO A escassa abordagem do tema durante a formação profissional torna-se uma das principais barreiras à comunicação de notícias difíceis, sendo fundamental esse debate nas instituições de ensino.
Objetivo: conhecer as dificuldades enfrentadas pelos estudantes de enfermagem durante a sua formação. Método: estudo qualitativo do tipo exploratório-descritivo, desenvolvido com 18 estudantes de enfermagem de uma universidade pública no sul do Brasil. Os dados foram coletados entre março a abril de 2017, por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas audiogravadas e analisados através da análise textual discursiva. A pesquisa obteve parecer favorável, sob o número 14/2017 do Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa na Área da Saúde. Resultados: emergiram três categorias: dificuldades relacionais e pessoais; estrutura física deficitária; dificuldades relacionadas ao processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Considerações Finais: a constante e acelerada busca por um ensino de excelência expõe o estudante as diversas situações de conflitos individuais e coletivos que podem levar ao desgaste físico e psicológico.
The objectives of this study were: to identify the importance of having a Papanicolaou test during pregnancy; to verify the factors that lead women to not want to have Papanicolaou test during pregnancy; and identify the role of nurses regarding Papanicolaou test during prenatal care. It is an integrative literature review, searching for articles in the databases: Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE), Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS) and Database Nursing data (BDENF). A time frame of the last 10 years was used in all searches. The search terms were "Papanicolau", "Gestação" and "Pré-natal". After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, five articles were selected that comprised the sample and two themes were obtained: Knowledge of pregnant women about the importance of Papanicolaou test for the prevention of cervical cancer during prenatal care and Proper preparation and the approach of nurses about the Papanicolaou test in pregnant women. It was possible to identify that pregnancy is an excellent opportunity for Papanicolaou test, because it is part of the prenatal routine and the nurse must be prepared and qualified to provide educational and preventive orientations and information about the exam to these women.
To identify which actions of the nurse in the early detection of breast cancer; check the limitations found by them to carry out these actions; and to identify the role of nurses regarding breast self-examination. This is an integrative literature review, which used the databases: MEDLINE, LILACS and BDENF. The search for the articles took place from September to October 2019 and the search terms were “Breast cancer”, “Self-examination”, “Tracking” and “Nurse”. Two themes were obtained: Knowledge of nursing professionals and women about the importance of performing breast self-examination to prevent breast cancer; Strategies used by nurses to encourage women about breast self-examination and raise awareness about breast cancer. The focus on breast cancer is important. Educate women to perform breast self-examination, as well as to carry out actions and strategies that raise awareness and guide them on this topic, allowing early diagnosis.
To investigate the perception of undergraduate nursing students about the teaching career of higher education at a public university in southern Brazil. This is a qualitative, exploratory-descriptive study consisting of twenty-seven nursing students, enrolled between the first and ninth grades of the course. Data collection took place between May and June 2017, semi-structured interviews were used. The data were analyzed according to the textual discursive analysis. Based on the results obtained, from the data analysis, three categories emerged: Students' perception of the entry and exercise of the teaching career; Teacher's role / duties; and Challenges for exercising the profession with quality. The conclusions indicated that teachers should be aware of the perceptions of nursing students about the teaching career, so that these professionals are able to better meet the needs and expectations of their students, contributing to the strengthening and quality of teaching and learning.
