Pendekatan public relations pemerintah Kota Bandung dalam menyampaikan informasi social distancing merupakan fokus penelitian ini. Fenomena ini dikaji karena media digital masif digunakan sehingga membuka peluang terbangunnya digital media relations. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pendekatan public relations melalui digital media relations dalam menyosialisasikan kebijakan social distancing. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus tunggal holisitik. Teknik pengumpulan data primer melalui wawancara dengan masyarakat Kota Bandung sebanyak delapan orang. Data juga diambil secara sekunder dari media sosial @humasbdg. Metode analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi, deskripsi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa public relations pemerintah Kota Bandung memberikan kontribusi terhadap pelaksanaan social distancing. Kontribusi tersebut melalui program sosialisasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan media digital. Media yang dimaksud adalah media sosial dengan akun resmi @humasbdg. Akun tersebut digunakan dibeberapa jenis media sosial seperti Instagram, Facebook, dan Youtube. Platform media sosial digunakan sebagai strategi kampanye social distancing melalui pendekatan digital media relations. Pendekatan ini mampu membangun dukungan masyarakat Kota Bandung dalam menjalankan social distancing. Kontribusi penelitian ini berupa rekomendasi kebijakan baru kepada pemerintah Kota Bandung dalam merumuskan media digital sebagai strategi sosialisasi kebijakan lainnya terkait pandemi COVID-19.
Background: Sports tourism is a new approach to growing public interest in sports. Sports tourism is expected to foster interest in sports and build an image of sport tourism as a dual force that can help economic growth. Purpose: The research was conducted at Kiara Artha Park, one of the sports tourism sites in Bandung. The aim is to analyze the stages of forming the image of Kiara Artha sports tourism. Methods: Using a qualitative and phenomenology approach, involving 11 informants: Kiara Artha Park managers, tenants, and visitors. Results: The study results explain that the image built in Kiara Arta Park is a place of recreation with the concept of healthy living. The stages of building the image of Kiara Artha Park begin with the commitment of the management to prepare facilities in the form of green open land designed as a recreational park and exercise. They are also conducting socialization in conventional media, building sports community support, and managing community participation of social media users. Conclusion: The image of Kiara Artha Park as a tourist sport place is built through public awareness as users need a place to exercise and recreation. The two combined concepts encourage interest in maintaining a healthy life. Thus, the type of image formed is a user image or image built by consumers based on personal needs related to personality, lifestyle, and social status. Implications: The results of this study can provide input to the management and government of the city of Bandung as a policy in every tourist destination to provide sport tourism facilities as an additional public space that can improve the physical and mental health of the community.
Relasi antarpribadi dibutuhkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, tidak terkecuali dalam kegiatan seni peran. Sutradara berupaya membangun relasi dengan para aktornya. Persoalan di lapangan memperlihatkan bahwa kualitas seni peran kurang maksimal karena buruknya relasi antarpribadi. Pendekatan komunikasi dalam menciptakan seni peran yang baik diperlukan. Ketepatan komunikasi dapat diukur melalui relasi antarpribadi sutradara dan aktor. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara dengan melibatkan sutradara dan aktor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya relasi antarpribadi sutradara dan aktor di dalam Teater Koma menggunakan prinsip kekeluargaan dengan menekankan pada aspek kesetaraan dan sikap suportif.
Indonesia and Japan are among the countries affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Education in the two countries relies on digital technology so learning is done online. This situation is interesting to study because this is the first time massive online learning has been implemented. The options are either studying online or picking up death. However, online learning of course must be well prepared so as not to leave a bad impact on students. The purpose of this study was to compare students' experiences during online learning during the pandemic between Indonesia and Japan. This research uses a phenomenological study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were through interviews with 30 college students as informants consisting of several universities in Indonesia and Japan. The results of this study are that Indonesian students still experience synchronous and asynchronous obstacles, consisting of technical and non-technical obstacles. Technically with regard to internet networks. Meanwhile, non-technical means that students are not ready to follow online learning so assistance is needed. Students in Indonesia also need time to adapt to using technology. Meanwhile, online learning in Japan has no obstacles. Even online situations are designed to be like classroom learning environments. Lecturers apply a collaborative adaptive learning model by prioritizing an adaptation approach to situations. Adaptation is categorized as one of the aspects of online communication competence which is considered as a success factor in online learning in Japan.
ABSTRACT Social media is a gateway for communication in the digital era. Its affordability is borderless, cross-border, anytime, anywhere, by anyone, so that social media is quickly gaining popularity, and it has become the most popular media to use today, both personal and institutional use. Social media is now being used for corporate public relations communication, becoming the front line of corporate communication tools. The purpose of this research is to find out and explore the use of social media by universities, Polytechnic LP3I Bandung in the context of public relations communication and to know how to use and implement public relations communication. Using a qualitative research method with a case study approach, the results show that public relations communication through social media has been carried out by the LP3I Bandung Polytechnic. However, its use is not optimal due to various factors such as insufficient human resource insight. The impact, through input from the results of this study, can increase and maximize the use of social media for public relations. Keywords: Communications, Public Relations, Social Media. ABSTRAK Media sosial menjadi pintu gerbang komunikasi di era digital. Keterjangkauannya bersifat borderless, lintas batas, kapanpun, dimanapun, oleh siapapun, sehingga media sosial cepat popular, dan menjadi media paling populer penggunaannya kini, baik penggunaan personal ataupun lembaga. Media sosial kini digunakan untuk kepentingan komunikasi kehumasan perusahaan, menjadi lini terdepan alat komunikasi korporat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menggali penggunaan media sosial oleh perguruan tinggi, yaitu Politeknik LP3I Bandung dalam konteks komunikasi kehumasan serta mengetahui bagaimana pemanfaatan dan implementasi komunikasi kehumasan. Menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif pendekatan studi kasus, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi kehumasan melalui media sosial sudah dilakukan oleh Politeknik LP3I Bandung. Namun penggunaannya belum optimal karena berbagai faktor seperti wawasan SDM yang masih minim. Dampaknya, melalui masukkan dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat meningkatkan dan memaksimalkan penggunaan media sosial untuk kehumasan. Kata Kunci: Komunikasi, Humas, Media Sosial.
