This study departs from the expectation that high or low student learning motivation are influenced by self-efficacy and family environment. The results of the study show that: 1) self-efficacy has a significant effect on learning motivation. 2) self-efficacy and parental support have a significant effect on learning motivation. This research is an associative descriptive study. The sample in this study is the business management students of class X and XI that are registered at Padang Private Vocational School. The findings from this study are expected to be a reference for teachers and other academic communities to be able to pay more attention to students in learning by giving attention to the family environment and paying attention to their learning attitudes and also help increase student motivation in learning so that maximum learning outcomes are obtained

ABSTRAK. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana Penerapan Nilai Pendidikan Karakter PeduliLingkungan di Kelas Tinggi SDN 55/1 Sridadi.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif.Lokasi penelitian ini di SDN 55/1 Sridadi, kecamatan Muara Bulian, kabupaten Batanghari. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi.Untuk mengecek keabsahan data dalam rangka membuktikan kesesuaian data penelitian dengan kenyataan dilapangan, peneliti menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi peneliti.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Penanaman Pendidikan Karakter Peduli Lingkungan pada Siswa Kelas Tinggi SDN 55/1 Sridadi dilaksanakan oleh pihak sekolah baik itu langsung dari kepala sekolah, para guru beserta staf, dan siswa-siswa itu sendiri. Cara guru menanamkan pendidikan karakter peduli lingkungan kelas pada siswa adalah membuat jadwal piket kelas, membiasakan siswa agar membuang sampah pada tempat dan sesuai jenis sampah tersebut, melakukan gotong royong, memberi arahan kepada siswa agar tidak merusak fasilitas sekolah, dan memelihara tanaman yang ada dikelas maupun sekolah.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa sikap peduli lingkungan siswa kelas IV dan V SDN 55/1 Sridadi sudah baik. Peneliti mengharapkan agar siswa-siswa dapat mempertahankan sikap tersebut, dan para guru dapat memberikan teladan. Kata kunci : Pendidikan Karakter, Peduli Lingkungan
PENDAHULUANTugas perkembangan merupakan suatu tugas yang muncul pada periode tertentu dalam rentang kehidupan individu. Tugas perkembangan berkaitan dengan sikap, perilaku, dan keterampilan yang sebaiknya dimiliki oleh setiap individu sesuai dengan fase atau usia perkembangannya. William Kay (dalam Yusuf, 2009:72) menjelaskan bahwa salah satu tugas perkembangan remaja adalah mengembangkan kemampuan berkomunikasi dan belajar berinteraksi dengan teman sebaya atau orang lain, baik secara individual maupun berkelompok. Keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal merupakan kemampuan yang perlu dimiliki oleh setiap remaja agar mereka mampu dalam berinteraksi dengan teman sebayanya.DeVito (2011:21)menjelaskan bahwakomunikasi interpersonal diartikan sebagai proses pengiriman dan penerimaan pesan-pesan antara individu atau sekelompok individu, dengan beberapa efek dan umpan balik segera. Berdasarkan pengertian tersebut, maka dapat dimaknai bahwa komunikasi interpersonal adalah komunikasi yang terjadi secara dialogis, di mana saat seorang komunikator berbicara maka akan terjadi umpan balik dari komunikan sehingga terdapat interaksi.
The purpose of this study was to to reveal the differences in honest character of students before and after being taught with a model of learning of inteligent character, using an experimental approach to the one group pretest posttest design method. Subjects, samples, and research data sources are 45 students of Gunungsitoli IKIP. The data collection instrument is a closed questionnaire that is based on seven principles of honest character, namely: speaking as is, acting on the basis of truth, defending the truth, being responsible, fulfilling obligations and accepting rights, being graceful, and keeping promises. The results showed that the intelligent character learning model can improve the honest character of students from not good to very good or from dishonest to very honest. It is recommended that every educator use this intelligent character learning model for all learning activities.
