This article argues that the System of Rice Intensification (SRI) future promotion should be based on the potential users’ good understanding of sustainable agriculture. A qualitative approach was used to examine the perceptions of SRI attributes among Indonesian rice farmers, which is built upon the developing theory of diffusion of innovation. Through focus group discussions in three Indonesian provinces, compatibility, complexity, and relative advantage were identified as essential factors for SRI adoption. SRI was seen as incompatible with current farming practices, labour capacity, budget, and time available for additional labour inputs. SRI was seen as relatively complicated in terms of compost processing and application as well as mechanised agricultural technologies. As a result of the economic surplus provided by SRI rice, organised farmers may be able to obtain a higher price for SRI rice than non-organised farmers. Environmental and agronomic benefits were thought to have a long-term payoff. Such results demonstrate the subjective evaluation of SRI by farmers, which is important to its implementation.
Character education needs to be developed since children at an early age. Kindergarten as an educational institution should give a priority to develop children's character. Character education in kindergarten requires an appropriate strategy. The purpose of this research is to describe the character education strategies at kindergarten in Semarang, Indonesia. This research was held by a combination of survey and qualitative methods. Data analysis techniques in this study go through 4 stages, which are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that character education at kindergarten in Semarang is aimed to shape attitudes and behaviors based on morals and religion, as well as the prevailing rules. The development of children's character was generally divided into four global categories; those are attitudes towards themselves, attitudes towards God, attitudes towards other people, and attitudes towards the environment. Children learned the attitudes by doing various activities that are related to the development of the child. The strengthening of character education was done by conditioning the environment. The environment was prepared by the teacher through the arrangement of facilities at school. Teachers cooperated with parents to build children's knowledge, understanding, and role model for children.
Digitalisation in various fields produces disruptive innovations to change the order that has been established. This encourages individuals and various social institutions to move to adjust to change. Education is one sector that needs to be improved quickly in order to be able to adapt to the needs and challenges of the present and the future. Teachers play a major role in realizing quality education. The quality of a teacher can make a difference in learning in one full year (Goldhaber & Anthony, 2004). Therefore, supervision and control of teacher quality becomes an important issue. Supervision has an important role in improving and controlling teacher quality. Referring to the opinion of Crane et al. (2010) which emphasizes supervision as an integral part of the learning process to continue the professional development of teachers. Supervision that tends to be bureaucratic, autocratic, and hierarchical is no longer relevant in improving teacher quality in the current era of disruption. The relevant supervision model is based on awareness, is democratic, opens discussion space for supervisors, principals and teachers to discuss strengths and weaknesses in the teaching and learning process. The model examined in this article is mindfulness-based supervision (Mindfulness-Based Supervision (MBS)

The models used are issue-based models offered by the ministry of national education with variation of components of planning and employment of two main instruments: SWOT and gap analysis. All schools having strategic planning formulate them in the annual work plan, however, not all of school implement them consistently. Keywords: instrument analysis, gap, SWOT, model, strategic planning.
