Maintenance of good and sustainable irrigation ponds have an impact on ensuring the sustainability of the irrigation system. For this reason, it is necessary to develop a reservoir maintenance model based on multicriteria analysis relating to the type of maintenance. The method used Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the WarpPLS approach. The criteria used Structural Stability, Economy / Finance, and Physical & Environmental. The findings obtained variable structural stability has a very significant effect on the maintenance of irrigation ponds (r <0.01 and β = 0.73). Economic / financial variables have not significant effect on reservoir maintenance where r = 0.3 and β = 0.03. Physical and environmental variables also did not directly influence the maintenance of ponds with r = 0.29 and β = 0.03. However, the physical & environmental variables significantly influenced structural stability with r <0.01 and β = 0.32. Physical and environmental variables also significantly influenced economic/financial where r <0.01, and β = 0.45. This finding supported various previous studies for structural stability variable but different for economic/financial variables that did not significantly affect by the determination of reservoir types.
Although transport mode choice in commuting from home to work has been studied extensively, no prior research has investigated mode choice as an emotional response to external stimuli using the stimulus-organism-response (SOR) model. Therefore, this study applies the SOR model to explore commuters’ transport mode choice behaviour. The stimulus variables include trip characteristics, transport infrastructure and services, environment, and work characteristics; the organism variable includes the travel experience and attitude of the individual; and the response variables include use of public transport, private transport, and e-hailing. Data were collected using a questionnaire survey of 500 formal-sector workers in Jakarta; 430 respondents provided valid responses for analysis. The survey data were analysed using partial least squares-structural equation modelling. The results showed that the stimulus variables, namely, trip characteristics, transport infrastructure, environment, and work characteristics, had indirect effects on the choice of e-hailing through organism factors (travel experience and attitude). Also, the environment and work characteristic variables had an indirect effect on the choice of private transport through organism factors. Stimulus variables had no indirect effects on public transport usage. When travel experience was the stimulus variable, the indirect effect on public transport usage through attitude as the organism variable was significant. The response to the use of transport modes showed dynamic behaviour, depending on the provided stimulus and organism. These findings can be beneficial for establishing a more comprehensive strategy that includes the provision of infrastructure, improvement of transit service, the built environment, and employers’ policies to realise a sustainable commuting trip.
: The problem of irrigation dams (small farm reservoair) is functional degradation, characterized by reduced capacity of collected water, sedimentation, seepage, the growth of wild plants in the body of weir / dike, erosion, and some other problems. Therefore, good and sustainable maintenance is required. One of them by determining the right criteria as the basis for planning the maintenance program. The determination of this criterion is based on fact (filling questionnaire) and literature review which then tested the validity and reliability to determine the criteria to be used. Furthermore, the analysis of the various criteria stated valid and reliable. Criteria are determined based on validity, reliability and frequency distribution with the number of procession answers is very important and important> 50%. The results of the analysis indicate influential Criteria and subcriteria namely Structural Stability Criteria (sub criteria: Body Dam, Embung Pool, Spillway, Building Assistance, Water Distribution Network, Condition Value); Physical and Environmental Criteria (subcriteria of Changes in the Natural Span, Rainfall and Evapotranspiration, Soil Structure around Embung, Plague of Plague Around Embung); Financial Criteria / Eknomi (subcriteria of Agricultural Product Result, Economic Value of Emung, Investment Fund); Government Policy Criteria (subcriteria: Spatial Plan, Provision of Maintenance Budget, Water Management, Institutional / Organization Aspect); Socio-Cultural Criteria (subcriteria: Community Participation, Local Wisdom / Customary Law, and Tourism Development)
