The study aimed at identifying the impact of the delegation of authority on employees' performance at great Irbid municipality. It has constructed on measuring the impact of delegation on efficiency, effectiveness and empowerment. Sample of the study represented by employees in which they are embedded in central and executive management through a random sampling reached to (200) employees from total (1500). The sample was used as a tool for achieving the results. After applying Alpha measurement, it has been shown that validity was (82%). Means, standard deviation, percentages, (T-test), and Cronbach Alpha test were used and applied.The results of the study have shown that there is a statically significant for delegation of authority on efficiency, effectiveness and empowerment of employees' performance at great Irbid municipality.The study has recommended in the need to activating administrative delegation authority of employees in Great Irbid Municipality (GIM). Also, increase the level of delegation to be ISSN 2162-3058 2015 www.macrothink.org/ijhrs 49 corresponded with the value of tasks in order to promote functional performance. Moreover, improving administrative delegation of authority in which effect on employees' satisfaction, employees' empowerment to implement tasks individually without asking high management. The current study aimed to identify the degree of the impact of academic preparation on the acquisition of leadership behaviour among principals of secondary schools in Jordan, from the teachers' points of view. The study followed the descriptive survey method. The researcher used the questionnaire as an instrument that comprised (30) items, distributed into five disciplines: The "rules' formation", "common vision", "challenge", "empowerment", and "encouragement" respectively. The study instrument was applied to a randomly chosen sample of (175) male and female principals from secondary schools in the Ajloun Governorate. The researcher found out the following results: The degree of the impact of academic preparation of giving leadership behaviour to secondary school principals came with an average degree level for all dimensions. The dimensions came in a descending order as follows: The "common vision", "rules' formation", "empowerment", "encouragement", and" challenge". There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05≥α) among the sample individuals' responses to the degree of the impact of the academic preparation of the Jordanian secondary-school principals' acquisition of leadership behaviour in terms of the (gender, experience, and scientific qualification) variables. The researcher recommended the intensification of training courses in the five fields (the "common vision", "rules' formation", "empowerment", "encouragement", and "challenge") to develop leadership behaviour among high school principals in Ajloun Governorate. Besides, reliable external or internal parties should conduct an annual evaluation of the training courses and activities provided by the Ministry of Education, receiving feedback from educational supervisors in the field regarding the success of these courses and their impact on the behaviour of secondary school principals.
The current study aimed at developing proposed administrative rules to activate the indicators of competitive advantage in the Jordanian education directorates. The study community comprised (312) educational leaders in these directorates for the first semester of the academic year (2020/2021). The developed study instrument was distributed to an intended study sample of (290) educational leaders. After extracting the validity and reliability coefficients, the results showed that the importance of the indicators of competitive advantage in the Jordanian education directorates. They presented a (high) degree of importance following the educational leaders' estimates in these directorates in four main dimensions as indicating signs of competitive advantage in those education directorates. Based on the study results, administrative rules were drawn up according to the importance of (30) indicators of competitive advantage in the education directorates. These indicators were divided into (4) main dimensions. The researcher recommends including administrative rules in educational institutions and encouraging educational leaders and those in charge of educational and training programs to adhere to them.
The aim of this study was to investigate the degree of career commitment among faculty members at Al-Husn Jordanian University College from their view points. The sample of the study consisted of (91) faculty members of whom hold (46) Ph.D, (34) hold master degree and (11) hold B.A., The researchers developed a 35 questionnaire. Validity and reliability of the questionnaire were determined. Results of the study indicated that faculty members' career commitment ranked first, with a high estimation degree, then "faculty members' responsibility towards students" with a moderate estimation degree, then "faculty members' responsibility towards colleagues" with moderate estimation degree, while "faculty members' responsibility towards parents and local community" ranked last with low estimation degree. Results indicated no significant differences (α = 0.05) due to gender and qualification. The study recommended the need for more interaction between faculty members, parents and local community via holding meetings, seminars and courses. Key words: Career commitment, Faculty members. Al Husn University College Jordan. هدفت هذه الدراسة تعرّف درجة الالتزام الوظيفي لدى أعضاء هيئة التدريس في كلية الحصن الجامعية في الأردن من وجهة نظرهم. وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من (91)عضو هيئة تدريس، منهم (46) من حملة الدكتوراة و(34) من حملة الماجستير و(11) من حملة البكالوريوس. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة طور الباحثان أداة تكونت من (35) فقرة موزعة على أربعة مجالات، وتم التحقق من صدقها وثباتها، وأظهرت النتائج أن "مجال مسؤولية عضو هيئة التدريس نحو المهنة" جاء في المرتبة الأولى وبدرجة تقدير عالية، تلاه مجال "مسؤولية عضو هيئة التدريس نحو الطلبة" وبدرجة تقدير متوسطة، تلاه مجال "مسؤولية عضو هيئة التدريس نحو الزملاء المدرسين" وبدرجة تقدير متوسطة، أما مجال "مسؤولية عضو هيئة التدريس نحو أولياء الأمور والمجتمع المحلي" فقد جاء في المرتبة الأخيرة وبدرجة تقدير متدنية. كما أشارت النتائج إلى عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائيًا عند مستوى الدلالة (α =0.05) في وجهات نظر المبحوثين تعزى لمتغيري الجنس والمؤهل العلمي. ويوصي الباحثان بزيادة التفاعل بين عضو هيئة التدريس وأولياء أمور الطلبة والمجتمع المحلي من خلال عقد اللقاءات وإقامة الندوات والدورات ... .
<p><span>The study aimed to identify the degree of career polarization among educational leaders in the Jordanian–education directorates of Ajloun and Jersah. The researchers adopted the descriptive -analytical approach for its suitability for such studies. The researchers used the questionnaire as the study instrument, which comprised 20 items. The researchers distributed the items in two domains, 10 items were for each domain as the study instrument. The sample of the study comprised 250 educational leaders for the first semester of the academic year 2019-2020. The study results showed that the degree of career polarization among educational leaders in the Jordanian Ministry of Education came with an average degree of rating in all its domains and for all items. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of statistical significance (α=0.05) attributed to the two study variables. Gender and the number of years of experience are the two study variables.</span></p>
