Randomly amplified microsatellite markers were used to study the genetic variation among six populations of Oryctes rhinoceros L. which were collected from oil palm plantations in Selangor, Perak, Pahang and Medan. Samples were collected using light and pheromone trapping for the purpose of obtaining two populations per site study. Thirty individual beetles per population were screened using seven randomly amplified microsatellite primers. Beetles were not attracted to light traps at Pahang and Medan. This resulted in only pheromone populations being caught there. Distances calculated based on the similarity coefficient of Nei and Li (1979) ranged between 0.422 and 0.736. Seventy eight reproducible loci were generated using the seven primers and all the loci were polymorphic. The dendrogram constructed produced two major clusters. Based on the dendrogram, the clusterings were observed to be influenced by preference to trapping system as well as geographical distance. The separation of clustering between Perak Pheromone (PP) and Perak Light (PL) is important as it gives rise to the possibility for the presence of two groups of O. rhinoceros based on their preference toward light and pheromone trap. However, further studies using codominant markers especially single locus DNA microsatellite markers are required to understand the population genetic structure and to further validate the presence of a cryptic species complex.
The main purpose of this study is to assess the existence of a diversity of religious, cultural, arts tourism and tourist destinations into sustainable tourism products with the criteria of tourism protection, the arts and culture of the local community in a directed and integrated manner in order to realize certain goals dynamically and selectively. Religious, artistic, and cultural tourism have criteria with an assessment of the level of importance and level of quality based on indicators and supporting evidence that forms the criteria. The study method is carried out through qualitative descriptive by revealing events or facts, circumstances, phenomena, variables and circumstances that occur in tourist destinations to make descriptions, descriptions, systematically, factually and accurately regarding facts, characteristics and relationships between phenomena that occur. destinations by level of importance and level of quality. The results of the discussion on management in destinations related to indicators: a) religious, artistic, cultural and natural sites tourism b) religion, culture, and the arts of local communities, c) historic buildings d) rural landscapes, have value at the level of importance and a high level of quality as a product sustainable tourism in Magelang district. Cultural and artistic tourism landscapes have a high level of importance and quality in Magelang Regency as a sustainable tourism product.
The perah seed oil is a potential source for high unsaturated and omega 3 oil. It can be an alternative choice for regular vegetable oil. The chemical and physical properties need to be investigated and evaluated for it to be used feasibly in the food industries and health care products. Modern day's faster and sophisticated instruments and techniques are used to evaluate the physicochemical properties of edible or vegetable oils. This study includes FTIR spectroscopy GC-MS and GC to evaluate the chemical properties of it while colour was used to study the physical property. The peaks by FTIR were found at 3300-3000 cm-1 , 2960 2850 cm-1 , 1760 1670 cm-1 , 1650 1580 cm-1 , and 1340 1020 cm-1. The GC-MS discover the potential beneficial compounds that available in extracted perah oil which are squalene, Vitamin E,and L.beta.-sitosterol. The GC data demonstrate about the free fatty acid profile which showed the high unsaturation in all oil samples extracted by different solvents. However, the colour measure for the visual suitable acceptability use for food or cosmetic application.
The purpose of the paper is to present the importance of learing in schools (SD/MI) during the pandemic, the perspective of IPS and applied Islam in viewing Covid-19, and to find out the existence of Islamic moderation values during the pandemic in the perspective of IPS. The method used is the literature method (Library Reaserch), while date collection is done by examining jounals and exploring several journals, books and other documentary documents, as well as other sources of date and information that are considered relevant to the study. In this discussion, there are several ways to ground the value of religious moderation in the perspective of IPS, which is a lot of problems relating to the social life of Indonesian society with the outbreak that is spreading throughout Indonesia. With the plague, people neglect the values of Islamic moderation does not mean that Islamic moderation is universal values. While the inculcation of the values contained through education. So that the importance of instilling values in the process of Islamic education is shown so that students have a way of life in facing their lives as they are today. Tujuan tulisan untuk menyajikan tentang pentingnya pembelajaran yang ada di sekolahan (SD/MI) di masa pandemic, pandangan IPS dan Islam terapan dalam memandang Covid-19, serta untuk mengetahui eksistensi nilai-nilai moderasi Islam dimasa pandemic dalam perspektif IPS. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kepustakaan Library Research, sedangkan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menelaah jurnal dan mengekploitasi beberapa buku dan dokumen-dokumen lainnya, serta sumber-sumber data dan informasi lainnya yang dianggap relevan dengan kajian. Dalam pembahasan kali ini mengupas ada beberapa cara dalam membumikan nilai-nilai moderasi agama dalam perspektif IPS, yang mana banyak sekali permasalahan yang menyangkut kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia dengan adanya wabah yang sedang menyebar keseluruh Indonesia. Dengan adanya wabah covid-19 menjadikan masyarakat melalaikan nilai-nilai dalam moderasi agama. bahwasannya moderasi agama yang dimaksud adalah nilai-nilai yang universal. Sedangkan penanaman nilai-nilai yang terkandung melalui jalur pendidikan. Sehingga, dengan pentingnya menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi agama dalam proses pendidikan itu ditunjukkan agar peserta didik memilki way of life (pandangan hidup) dalam menghadapi kehidupan seperti sekarang ini.
