This study examined the differences in the students' academic resilience based on gender and cohort. Participants were students of Department of Educational Psychology and Guidance, Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Makassar in the academic years of 2013, 2014, and 2015. They were comprised of 103 students, 77 females and 26 males. The instrument in this study was Academic Resilience Scale (ARS) adopted and modified from Martin and Marsh. Data were analyzed through Mann-Whitney statistical of non-parametric tests in order to measure the academic resilience level of gender difference and Kruskal Wallis to measure academic resilience of cohort difference. Results revealed that there was no difference in academic resilience between female and male students. It was also found that there is a significant difference in academic resilience among the students in the academic years of 2013, 2014 and 2015. Discussion, limitation, and recommendation were also provided in this study.
This research aims to develop the employability skills instrumen that will be used to measure the employability skills on vocational high school students. The method was used is a model of research and development. The instrumen developing is based on the results of the synthesis construct of employability skills theories. The sample were selected are 34 students of SMKN 13 Bandung. Based on the result of the research, it showed that the employability skills instrumen that was arranged had a good validity, shown by content validity with expert judgment and empiric validity with pearson product moment correlation. The reliability of the employability skills instrumen included an enough category that was shown by the high alpha reliability coefficient score that was 0.994
Tujuan penelitian ini berfokus pada dampak wasting time [menyia-nyiakan waktu] terhadap proses belajar pada anak remaja. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif karena untuk meneliti pada kondisi obyek yang alamiah. Sehingga strategi yang digunakan dalam penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini yaitu dengan menggunakan strategi studi hanya pada lingkungan kelurahan kekalik jaya, kota Mataram, sehingga memudahkan proses pengumpulan data dan analisis data akan lebih mengarahkan pada suatu permasalahan yang sudah diobservasi sebelumnya. dalam penelitian ini saya mengambil sumber dari berbagai remaja-remaja di kelurahan kekalik jaya.Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini di lakukan dengan cara observasi dan wawancara di sekitaran kelurahan Kekalik jaya, kota mataram.Teknik analisis yang saya pake adalah deskriptif kualitatif di karenakan di lingkungan remaja banyaknya remaja pada saat ini pada sibuk bermain game dan menonton kartun ataupun filem, mereka sampai melupakan waktunya untuk belajar dan istirahat dengan hal ini membuat anak remaja tersebut menjadi malas. Hasil penilitian ini adalah di mana dampak wasting time terhadap proses belajar pada anak remaja di sebabkan oleh berbagai hal-hal yang di mana terjadi di karenakan remaja di era moderen ini banyak remaja menyikan waktunya untuk bermain dari pada belajar, di karenakan menurut mereka bermain itu lebih asik dari pada belajar.
