Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) adalah wabah virus yang menjakit masyarakat dunia atau disebut pandemi, sejak ditemukan kasus positif COVID-19 di Indonesia pada 2 Maret 2020 pemerintah Republik Indonesia mengumumkan Indonesia darurat COVID-19, yang juga berdampak pada kegiatan belajar mengajar di sekolah maupun madrasah. Sekolah dan madrasah dirumahkan untuk melakukan kegiatan belajar di rumah dengan melakukan pembelajaran dalam jaringan. Guru sebagai pendidik selain tetap memberikan materi dalam proses belajar-mengajar jarak jauh melalui jaringan internet, juga harus bekerjasama dengan orang tua dalam mengawasi kegiatan belajar mengajar, selain itu orang tua juga hendaknya memberikan edukasi tentang dampak COVID-19 dan juga cara pencegahannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian kepustakaan dengan mengandalkan sumber-sumber kepustakaan yang kemudian di analisis secara mendalam untuk mengetahui betapa pentingnya peran orang tua dalam mengedukasi anak-anaknya tentang dampak COVID-19 dan cara pencegahannya, melakukan kontrol terhadap anak melalui pengawasaan agar tidak bermain diluar rumah, bekerjasama dengan guru mengawasi kegiatan belajar-mengajar anak, menanamkan nilai karakter dalam menyikapi pandemi COVID-19.
The development of information and communication technology is so rapid, marked with everything can be done all digital. The rapid development of information and communication technology is also unavoidable in people’s lives, including in the pesantren environment. The students at the pesantren are also equipped with skills in utilizing technology to meet the needs of responding to the times. Santri millennial must be able and brave to appear at the forefront in filling spaces in various virtual media such as social media, because radicalism is widely spread through social media. Therefore the santri millennial community is named Arus Informasi Santri Nusantara made massive movements on social media to fight the spread of radical ideas. The research uses a qualitative approach, as for the data obtained through interviews and based on experience in the field. Santri millennial incorporated in Arus Informasi Santri Nusantara aware of this so as to make a movement against the spread of radical understanding on social media through activities such as kopi darat nasional, kopi darat wilayah, ngaji sosial media, and scheduled movements to produce positive content and used as trending topics. By producing positive content typical of pesantren, then the social media homepage will be filled with positive things, so that radicalism will be excluded.
Indonesia is a country that consist of various tribes, cultures, customs, religions and beliefs. This has become a special asset for the Indonesian people, but on the other hand it has also been disastrous because it can cause conflict with the another. Therefore the need to instill multicultural in people’s lives, certainly through education. Multicultural education should be taken from existing local wisdom, in here the author will take the local wisdom of Lampung which is called nemui nyimah as the basis of multicultural education in Lampung. This research uses a qualitative approach, with the literature study method, with in-depth analysis based on available data sources. The resukts of this study that the culture of nemui nyimah contained multicultural values such as sharing with guests, being friendly to guests, good manners, being generous with guests, which later could be developed in a formal education environtment.
Lampung indigenous people have valuable local wisdom that has the values of character education. The purpose of this research is to form a form of support to the government that continues to campaign for character education as an effort to restore the original character of the moral Indonesian nation and this study also aims to discover how the values of character education in the local wisdom of Lampung indigenous people namely Nengah Nyappur. This research uses descriptive-qualitative method to explore various data with library research. Nengah Nyappur as one of the elements of the philosophy of life of the people of Lampung has a character value in the form of tolerance, courtesy, and cooperation. These three character values are rooted in the daily lives of the indigenous people of Lampung. Referring to the presidential regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 87 of 2017 concerning Strengthening Character Education, Education Units and School/Madrasah Committees consider the adequacy of educators and education personnel, availability of facilities and infrastructure, local wisdom and opinions of community leaders and or religious leaders outside the School/Madrasah Committee. The third point about local wisdom feels the need for writers to review as one of the bases of character education, the writer offers local wisdom of Lampung. The findings of this study are that the values contained in Nengah Nyappur are still very relevant until now and can be applied in the family environment, community environment, and school environment.
