The objective of this research is to investigate the potential of geopolymers produced from fly ash, metakaolin and clay as high quality refractory. Geopolymers were synthesized through alkaline activation method and cured at 70°C for 1 hour. The samples were subjected to various characterizations such as compressive and flexural strength, fire resistance and shock thermal measurements. Geopolymers made from fly ash showed higher compressive strength compared to those made from metakaolin and local clay. Fire resistance and thermal shock measurements indicated that the refractory quality of geopolymers made from fly ash, metakaolin, and local clay was very much the same.
Dikirim: 25 Mei 2019 This study aims to determine the satisfaction of tourists and the performance of the components of tourism destinations, namely attractions, accessibility, and amenities (A3). These components are also used as research variables. The research sample uses the Purposive Sampling method with 100 respondents obtained. The instruments used in data collection were questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Quantitative analysis is done by Likert Scale and Importance Performance Analysis. Qualitative analysis is done by comparing the results of quantitative analysis and existing conditions in the field Tourist satisfaction for the attraction component and accessibility is in the Satisfied category, while the amenities component is in the Quite Satisfied category. The performance that needs to be improved is online information easiness, the completeness of facilities at the homestay, also distinctive and diversity of the souvenirs products. Deficiencies in the amenities component do not affect the overall satisfaction of tourists, as long as the indicators in the attraction and accessibility components are considered satisfactory.
This study aimed to determine the level of tourist satisfaction and the performance of attractions, accessibilities, and amenities (3As) in Pulesari Tourism Village (PTV). This study uses both qualitative and quantitative (mixed method). The population in this study was tourists who visited PTV during the period of August to September 2018. A hundred samples were collected using Purposive Sampling method. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires, in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. Gradual quantitative-qualitative data analysis is used as a technique to analyse the data. It begins with Likert satisfaction analysis, Importance Performance Analysis, and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the level of tourist satisfaction was in the satisfied category. Managers need to improve the quality of attraction components and become a priority to meet tourist expectations. Based on this study, the results show that the quality of the 3As component influences the level of satisfaction of visiting tourists. The three components become unity and support each other. A low assessment of one component can be improved by other components that are perceived to have better quality.
