This paper presents The research on e-modules is based on problem solving for science process skills. E-modules are made with the stages of development, implementation, and evaluation adopted from the Branch. The purpose to see the science process skills and physical education students' perceptions of Edinburgh University after using e-module basic physics lab-based science process skills using the model of problem solving using kvisoft application.
The study used mixed-method design. Sample size of this study was 689 students employed total sampling technique. This study revealed that science process skill of students in learning science whether urban and rural areas are good. The independent sample t-test showed that there was a significance difference in students' science process skill in urban school (M = 3.175, SD = 0.178) and in rural schools (M = 2.482, SD = 0.182); (t (687) = 18.224, p<0.01. The independent sample t-test showed that there was a significance difference in students' critical thinking in urban school (M = 5.058, SD = 0.163) and in rural schools (M = 3.436, SD = 0.152); t (687) = 17.224, p<0.001. Lastly, the regression shows the level of contribution students’ science process skill influence as much as 51.5% for critical thinking. This study was found that student science process skill affects critical thinking in learning science. Moreover, students' science process skill and critical thinking in urban better than rural.
Attitude in college activity in college is very important. Attitude in the course can affect the success of students in following the lecture, as well as the attitude of students in the Mathematical Physics course. To know the attitude is required an instrument. In reality, however, it is difficult to find an attitude assessment instrument for Mathematics Physics courses. Therefore, a development research that aims to develop a student attitudinal assessment instrument on the Mathematical Physics course. This type of research is a research and development (R&D) developed by Sugiyono (2016). The test was conducted to determine the validity and reliability of the questionnaire. The results of questionnaire test that has been disseminated to 46 students who have contracted the mathematical physics course were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) technique. Based on research and development result, obtained 7 questionnaire indicator consisting of 61 items of valid statement. Based on the questionnaire analysis has a good validity for each question item. Reliability coefficient of each indicator obtained is equal to 0
This study aims to see the extent of the application of ICT in the ALIVE program at Munoz Central School, as well as its effectiveness in the use of ICT. Furthermore, this study uses a mixed methods research design with a sequential explanatory approach. The sample of this study were students who took the ALIVE pro-gram at Munoz Central School. Quantitative and qualitative results indicate that the implementation of ICT in the ALIVE program is already good, it can be seen from the utilization of some ICT features performed by the teacher, as well as the effectiveness of ICT, where the presence of ICT in ALIVE learning is very helpful in the learning process. This certainly indicates that the use of ICT in the ALIVE program at Munoz Central School is good but needs improving that the learning that is carried out is even more increasing. With the increased use and facilities of the ICT in the ALIVE program, of course, it will make learning much better in the future and requires the attention of various related stakeholders.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
