This study aims to develop social media-based Mahārah al-kalām learning media using the TikTok application and to test the feasibility of these learning media. In the development of this learning media, the researcher used the ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation) development type with 42 students as respondents in the Arabic language course at the Islamic Education Study Program of the Universitas Islam Indonesia with the data collection technique in the form of a questionnaire which included components, material, display, and operation/use. From the feasibility test of learning media by media experts, a percentage of 85.7% was obtained with the very feasible category, the material expert test obtained a percentage of 92.8% with a very feasible category. Then the learning media was tested extensively (in the field) to 42 students by getting a percentage of 82.12% in the very feasible category. The average of the results of the expert tests and trials mentioned above, the percentage results are 86.9%, which means that the social media-based mahārah al-kalām (speaking skill) learning media using the TikTok application is very feasible to use.
Learning Arabic will be interesting if deliver by taking characteristics of each intelligence possessed by children. This research aimed to explain how the Multiple Intelligences approach used in designing methods of learning Arabic. Results from this study are expected to assist teachers in teaching Arabic with varying methods based on the theory of multiple intelligences. Pembelajaran bahasa Arab akan menejadi menarik jika penyampaiannya dilakukan dengan memperhatikan karakteristik masing masing kecerdasan yang dimiliki oleh anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap bagaimana pendekatan Multiple Intelligences digunakan dalam merancang metode pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu para pengajar bahasa Arab dalam mengajarkan bahasa Arab dengan metode yang bervariatif berlandaskan pada teori multiple intelligences.
The article attempts to analyze the existence of Tarekat Ṣiddîqîyah community in Surabaya focusing on its struggle and development process from minority to be relatively a well-established Sufi order, which has many branches in many areas in Indonesia. In Surabaya, Tarekat Ṣiddîqîyah has established four branches of caliphate, which locate in Tandes, Perumahan Pondok Candra, Karangrejo Wonokromo, and Manukan Kulon. It has also founded a branch that focuses on education in Nglampis Ngasem. The author finds that Tarekat Ṣiddîqîyah promulgated its teachings in Surabaya by spreading information manually, from person to person and coordination among its followers, and formation of spiritual organizations, namely YPS and Orshid. The advent of Ṣiddîqîyah to Surabaya has been done through infiltration, identification, coordination, and mobilization. In addition, the author finds that there have been various motives of Surabaya people in adhering Ṣiddîqîyah, such as improving their religious knowledge, joining a socio-spiritual community/fraternity, having a lifeline in the form of dhikr and wirid, and having prayer to prevent themselves from committing immoral deeds (tolak balak). The followers of Ṣiddîqîyah also claim that the tarekat has been able to fulfill their spiritual needs. Social interaction of Ṣiddîqîyah’s members amongst Surabaya people in general runs peacefully and harmoniously for they can assimilate and adapt to the local culture.

Artikel ini dimaksudkan untuk menjelaskan bias gender dalam buku bahasa Arab siswa kelas X yang ditulis berdasarkan pendekatan saintifik sebagai ciri khas kurikulum 2013. Buku siswa yang digunakan sebagai bahan ajar pokok oleh para guru mereka, sunggu penting dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran. Hasil analisis data penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa masih terjadi bias gender dalam buku tersebut dalam bentuk gambar dan teks.
