The paper examines the existing domestic and foreign research in the field of human perception of the surrounding visible environment. On the basis of these studies, principles are formed that must be used for the reconstruction of existing spaces or the formation of new ones in order to create a comfortable environment, thereby improving the ecology of the urban ecosystem.
At present, the theory of values is undergoing its revival due to the new social, scientific and technical realities of reality, since the categories of peace, human life, and livelihood are beginning to play an increasing role in the content of the world perception, worldview of new generations. The hierarchy of values, as well as the place of family values in it, reflect the characteristics of time, living conditions and form the basis of a person's relationship with himself, with others, with the world as a whole. In the context of this issue, we are considering a set of measures aimed at introducing modern youth to fundamental family values, which can play a significant role in shaping their mental and physical health, as well as supporting the creation of their own family. Relevance is due to the fundamentality of the family question, its role is inscribed in many spheres of life, and is affected in the sciences related to psychology, such as sociology, psychology, pedagogy and philosophy. An example of this is that in many fields of related sciences, one way or another, the topic of the institution of the family, and family values as such, is touched upon. Family values are part of the healthy functioning of society. Family education gives us certain qualities that we use in adulthood, which significantly affects the whole life of society. Attention is drawn to the importance of the institution of the family for society, its connection with other spheres of life, such as work, circle of communication, self-realization, and others. The main emphasis in the designation of importance was on the social and spiritual spheres.
In an educational organization, a student is faced with a large number of complexes, ambiguous both educational and life situations that require him to have an adequate and conscious choice. At the same time, many lack an understanding of their social ideas and the ability to separate emotional relationships from rational interaction. The modern youth environment, due to its age, worldview and socio-psychological characteristics, is in dire need of sociocultural identification, therefore, it is more susceptible to transformational processes associated with the assimilation of value systems, norms that form certain forms of behavior. There is a substitution of traditional forms of public morals and value foundations, leveling cultural continuity, the threat of preserving the milestones of Russian history, etc. These aspects lead to an increase in forms of deviant behavior, manifested in deviation from legal and moral norms. There is a desire to participate in informal youth associations, which leads to increased aggressiveness, an increase in extremism in the youth environment. The origin of extremism is considered the intellectual and moral limitations of the individual, which testifies to the problems of education, both in the institution of the family and in the educational process. A socio-psychological study in an educational organization can identify categories of students who require targeted information, education and psychological and pedagogical impact in order to timely prevent deviant behavior, including extremist manifestations. The diagnostic technique «Violent Extremism Attitude Scales – VEAS» allows you to identify dispositions for extremism in the student environment in the early stages, and to introduce preventive measures in the educational process in a timely manner.

Modern youth and the student community today play a key role in the development of social and social life. Due to the peculiarities of the university space, the student community is in constant interaction and communication, both in the framework of the educational process and events of various formats, and in social and everyday conditions. In the context of interactions, this social group, which is most at risk of spreading negative ideologies that threaten not only the personal security of everyone, but also peaceful coexistence in the conditions of a multinational society in Russia. In the absence of educational measures as a prevention, an unfavorable environment arises in which it is very easy to influence the thinking of young people, their involvement in nationalist movements, extremist activities, etc. Hence the concept of «youth extremism» appears, which is manifested in the views and behavior of young people based on the manifestation of aggression and non-acceptance of dissenters. The search for new technologies of psychological support that allow to form cultural tolerance, value orientations and prevent the spread of extremist ideologies becomes relevant. The authors consider a set of measures that contribute to the generalization, dissemination, as well as the introduction into the student environment of the best practices of spiritual and moral education, the development of interethnic and interreligious dialogue, and the prevention of negative ideologies. To implement these tasks, it is necessary to form a pool of specialists in the prevention of extremism in the student environment, hold seminars and meetings for vice-rectors of universities on security and educational work, as well as educational seminars for managers of student organizations. This will make it possible to form leadership student associations that broadcast the values of cultural tolerance to the youth environment.
