Context:Nursing care on the spiritual aspect is focusing on the patients' acceptance of their diseases; thus, people living with HIV (PLWH) are able to accept their diseases and are able to take the lesson. PLWH do not only deal with the condition of the disease but also by discriminative social stigma.Aim:The aim of this study was to explore, describe, and interpret the experience of spirituality to self-acceptance in patients with HIV/AIDS.Research Methodology:This research is a qualitative approach by descriptive phenomenology of participants involving as many as 10 people, consisting of 5 men and 5 women. All paticipants are muslim with the education level range from junior high school to university. The ages ranged from 29 to 46 years.Results:This research identified the two themes which are: (1) being able to take the lesson from their diseases, and (2) self acceptance as people living with HIV-AIDS. There were 10 participants participated in this study. A method of in-depth interviews and observation is a help of data collection. Data analysis used was Creswell method.Conclusion:Results of the study suggested the patients to get motivated and to develop aspects of spirituality so that it can help to ease in the process of self acceptance, asgetting closer to God through pray, read the Quran, fasting, etc.
<p><em>Ampas tebu sebagian besar mengandung bahan-bahan lignoselulosa.yang dapat berfungsi sebagai adsorben. Minyak jelantah (waste cooking oil) adalah minyak bekas pemakaian kebutuhan rumah tangga umumnya, bila ditinjau dari komposisi kimianya, minyak jelantah mengandung senyawa-senyawa yang bersifat karsinogenik, tapi bila dimurnikan dengan cara meyerap kotoran yang ada, masih bias bernilai Ampas tebu adsorben dapat menurunkan FFA oleh 82,14%. Berdasarkan sampel 150 ml digunakan memasak sampel minyak, waktu efektif untuk pengobatan untuk mengurangi FFA adalah 60 menit, Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas ampas tebu sebagai adsorben untuk pemurnian minyak jelantah. Penelitian ini merupakan Jenis penelitian ini adalah Exsperimen, dengan rancangan One Group Pretest Posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Minyak Jelantah hasil dari penggorengan sanjai di Kota Bukittinggi tahun 2018. Sampel diambil menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sesudah dilakukan penyaringan sampel minyak jelantah menggunakan ampas tebu sebanyak tiga kali pengulangan didapatkan hasil yaitu : bau normal, rasa hambar, warna kuning muda, dan endapan tidak ada, sehingga sesuai dengan standar baku mutu minyak goreng yang baik, adanya perbedaan rerata kadar asam lemak bebas, bilangan peroksida, kadar air sebelum dan sesudah adalah asam lemak (0,233), peroksida (1,366), air (0,533). Hasil uji statistik didapatkan p value asam lemak (0,020), peroksida (0,002), air (0,026). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini minyak yang telah di proses sesuai dengan standar baku mutu minyak goreng yang baik. (SNI 01-3741-2002 tentang Standar Mutu Minyak Goreng).</em></p><p><em><br /></em></p><p><em><em>Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum) is used as the main raw material in the sugar industry. Bagasse is the solid waste from the industrial processing of sugar cane into sugar. Bagasse fiber is not soluble in water and is mostly composed of cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin. Cooking oil (waste cooking oil) is a former oil consumption household goods generally, but when viewed from the chemical composition, used cooking oils contain compounds that are carcinogenic. Bagasse adsorbent can reduce FFA by 82.14%. Based on a 150 ml sample used cooking oil samples, the effective time for treatment to reduce FFA is 60 minutes,The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of bagasse as an adsorbent for pemnurnian used cooking oil. The results showed After filtering waste cooking oil samples using bagasse as much as three times the repetition of the results obtained are: normal smell, taste bland, pale yellow color, and precipitation does not exist, so in accordance with bakum good quality cooking oil, theirmean differencefree fatty acid content, peroxide value, moisture content before and after is 0.233, 1.366, 0.533. Statistical test results obtained p value of 0.020, 0.002, 0.026. The conclusion of this study after three repetitions the results obtained are: normal smell, taste bland, pale yellow color, and precipitation does not exist, and its happening significant reduction of which the decrease in free fatty acid, peroxide, water content.</em></em></p>
<p><em>Menopause is a normal stage in a woman's life. The sign and symptom is hot flashes. According to observational data on some respondents, they had complaints during menopause, especially hot flashes symptoms. It is characterized by redness of the skin, palpitations, weakness, and anxiety and sleep disorders. The purpose of this study was to determine The Effectiveness of Steamed Tempe toward Potassium Flashes Symptoms of Menopause in Guguk Panjang Community Health Center Bukittinggi 2019. This study used Quasi-Experiment (One-Group Pretest - Posttest Design). It was conducted in 14 days on April 2019 in Guguk Panjang Health Center Bukittinggi. By using purposive sampling, 10 respondents were chosen as the samples. The data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate analysis by using T test. The results of this study showed that the average symptoms of hot flashes on the respondents before (pretest) steamed tempe was 4.00 (SD 0.635) and after (Posttest) was 2.49 (SD 0.421) with P-value = 0,000. Then, there was a significant relationship between hot flashes felt by respondents before and after steamed tempe.</em></p><p> </p><p><em>Menopause merupakan tahap normal dalam kehidupan wanita dengan berhentinya menstruasi, tanda dan gejalanya seperti hot flashes (rasa panas). Menurut data observasi pada beberapa responden mengalami keluhan pada masa menopause terutama gejala hot flashes yang ditandai dengan</em><em> </em><em>kemerahan pada kulit, palpitasi, kelemahan, dan kecemasan bahkan gangguan tidur. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian olahan tempe kukus terhadap gejala hot flashes pada ibu menopause. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi-Eksperimen (One-Group Pretest - Posttest Design) yang di aplikasikan dengan rancangan pretest – posttest. Teknik pengambilan sampel diambil dengan metode Purposive Sampling dengan jumlah sampel 10 orang responden.</em><em> </em><em>Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu analisis</em><em> </em><em>univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji T test. Penelitian dilakukan selama</em><em> </em><em>14 hari pada bulan April 2019 di wilayah Puskesmas Guguk Panjang Kota Bukittinggi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan rata – rata gejala hot flashes pada responden sebelum (Pretest) pemberian olahan tempe kukus adalah 4,00 (SD 0,635)dan sesudah (Posttest) adalah 2,49(SD 0,421) dengan P-value 0,000. Hasil di atas didapatkan hubungan signifikan antara gejala hot flashes yang dirasakan responden sebelum dan sesudah pemberian olahan tempe kukus. </em></p>
