Promosi merupakan salah satu cara untuk mengenalkan sebuah lembaga, salah satunya adalah Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian (LPPM) Universitas Riau yang memerlukan sebuah media untuk mempublikasi berbagai kegiatan dan karya-karya penelitian dan pengabdian yang telah dilaksanakan. Untuk itu perlu dibuat sebuah video profil yang dapat digunakan untuk memberikan informasi hasil kinerja LPPM UNRI Selama ini. Video tidak hanya menggunakan berbagai perlatan dan software akan tetapi dengan menyampaikan pesan yang tepat serta tepat dalam menggunakan kamera dan berbagai keperluan editing akan menghasilkan yang terbaik untuk media promosi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, perancangan yang menggunakan tahapan pra produksi, produksi dan pasca produksi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah video profile LPPM yang dapat digunakan selanjutnya oleh LPPM UNRI. Video berdurasi 32 menit yang mempunyai 2 segment sehingga dapat digunakan untuk presentasi, youtube dan di website LPPM UNRI. Video dapat disesuaikan dengan keperluan LPPM untuk waktu  9 menit, 14 menit, dan 32 menit.

The aim of this study is to determine the source of election information and the election information seeking behavior in 2019 among novice voters in Pekanbaru City. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. Data collection using a questionnaire by distributing questionnaires to research respondents as many as 377 people. Data analyzed by using the average score calculated using SPSS 2.5. The results showed that the majority of beginner voters in Pekanbaru (66.8 percent) accessed election information through social media. The most accessed information is news about presidential and vice presidential candidates. Beginner voter information seeking behavior in Pekanbaru includes the stages of starting, chaining, browsing, differentiating, monitoring, extracting, verifying, and ending. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sumber informasi pemilu dan perilaku pencarian informasi pemilu serentak tahun 2019 di kalangan pemilih pemula di Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan menyebarkan angket kepada responden penelitian sebanyak 377 orang. Analisis data menggunakan nilai skor rata-rata yang dihitung dengan menggunakan SPSS 2.5. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa pemilih pemula di Kota Pekanbaru mayoritas (66,8 persen) mengakses informasi pemilu melalui media sosial. The ability to publish articles in scientific journals is among the parts of a teacher's professional competence. The problem is that many teachers have not mastered the skills to write scientific papers. As a result, many teachers find it difficult to advance in rank, especially for promotion after IV / a. This paper describes a community service activity sponsored by Universitas Riau lecturers which aims to help teachers improve their scientific writing skills. Community service activities were carried out at a school in Pekanbaru, Riau. This paper further explains the concept of the workshop, the content of workshop materials, and the workshop's effectiveness. This workshop lasted for two months with three face-to-face training. The rest was done online via the Google Classroom platform. The material content covers the basic principles of scientific writing, the steps for writing scientific journals, how to cite and make references, including how to automatically cite using reference manager applications such as Mendeley, and how to submit articles through the online journal OJS system. Data from the survey conducted at the end of the community service activity showed that, in general, this activity was running well and effectively. The majority of participants (72.7%) stated that their motivation to write increased after attending the training. Their knowledge of writing scientific articles have improved after training. Their ability in writing scientific journals is also relatively better than before following this structured workshop.

Household’s Food security during the Covid 19 pandemic, through the use of yards, can be conducted by the community independently such as hydroponic. However, people's understanding of hydroponic, especially in Pekanbaru, is still limited. Therefore, training for the community is needed as a community empowerment. These activities can be expanded through interesting educational videos. This community empowerment activity aims to increase community knowledge and skills regarding hydroponic technology during the pandemic, and is expected to become a post-pandemic household-scale economic enterprise. This community service activity is carried out by means of training and mentoring, as well as making a video to be widely disseminated through social media. The results of the community service activities show an increase in community knowledge and skills of hydroponic. After the training, the community independently has been aplicating hydroponic technology and biulding hydroponic group. This process is documented as educational video which is useful for the wider community in Pekanbaru City.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media sosial terhadap perubahan sistem nilai masyarakat Melayu di Kota Pekanbaru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksplanatif untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel yang dihipotesiskan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang diedarkan kepada 166 orang masyarakat melayu yang diambil dengan teknik unknown population. Analisis data dilakukan melalui skala Likert dengan 4 option. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  tidak ada pengaruh secara signifikan antara penggunaan media sosial yang diukur melalui indikator frekuensi dan durasi terhadap sistem  nilai masyarakat Melayu di Kota Pekanbaru. Ada faktor lain yang tidak dilihat dalam penelitian ini yang secara signifikan memberikan andil dalam mempengaruhi sistem nilai masyarakat Melayu. Perubahan tersebut lebih kepada hal-hal yang bersifat positif dan mengarah pada penguatan penerapan sistem nilai yang telah dianut oleh masyarakat Melayu selama ini.Kata Kunci: media sosial, sistem nilai, masyarakat melayu
