Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan lembar kerja siswa berbasis pendekatan open-ended yang valid, praktis dan efektif untuk melatih kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa Kelas VIII SMP di Kota Lubuklinggau. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Prosedur penelitian pengembangan LKS diadaptasi dari model pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran 4-D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (disseminate). Ujicoba terbatas dan ujicoba kelompok besar dilakukan di SMP Negeri 14 Lubuklinggau kelas VIII dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 29 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menghasilkan LKS berbasis pendekatan open-ended yang valid dengan nilai rata-rata 4,167, praktis dengan nilai rata-rata 4,21 dan efektif dengan nilai rata-rata 4,126. Implementasi LKS Berbasis Pendekatan open-ended meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Lubuklinggau sebesar 79,70% dengan kategori baik, SMP Negeri 14 Kota Lubuklinggau sebesar 74,02% dengan kategori baik, dan SMP PGRI 3 Kota Lubuklinggau sebesar 66,45% dengan kategori baik.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan lembar kerja peserta didik (LKPD) berbasis higher order thinking skill (HOTS) yang dapat memfasilitasi siswa dalam melatih kemampuan berpikir tingkat tingginya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan. Proses pengembangan LKPD diadaptasi dari model pengembangan 4-D (Four-D Models) yang terdiri dari pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), dan penyebaran (disseminate). Tahap pendefinisian meliputi analisis awal-akhir siswa, analisis tugas, analisis konsep dan spesifikasi tujuan. Tahap perancangan terdiri dari penyusunan tes, pemilihan media, dan pemilihan format. Tahap pengembangan terdiri dari uji kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Tahap penyebaran ini dilakukan dengan membagikan LKPD berbasis HOTS ke sekolah lain, selanjutnya siswa diminta untuk mengisi lembar angket respon terhadap LKPD yang dibagikan. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian validasi diperoleh skor rata-rata, yaitu aspek materi sebesar 3,73 dengan kategori valid, aspek konstruksi/media sebesar 4,28 dengan kategori sangat valid dan aspek bahasa sebesar 4,06 dengan kategori valid. Hasil penilaian kepraktisan siswa diperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 4,15 dengan kategori praktis dan kepraktisan guru sebesar 3,60 dengan kategori praktis. Selanjutnya, hasil penilaian keefektifan melalui tes HOTS menunjukkan persentase ketuntasan secara klasikal sebesar 86,7% dan respon siswa menunjukkan respon positif terhadap LKPD. Hasil penilaian tes menunjukkan rata-rata pretes diperoleh 30,76, sedangkan postes diperoleh 74,09. Artinya, terdapat peningkatan rata-rata nilai kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dari pretes ke postes dalam ujicoba lapangan.
<p class="StyleAuthorBold"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Penelitian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik, serta mengetahui proses pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran SAVI berbantuan <em>flashcard</em> materi Sistem Eksresi kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Bunut Hulu. Subjek penelitian yaitu 22 peserta didik kelas VIII. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi lembar observasi proses pembelajaran dan aktivitas belajar, serta soal tes hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses pembelajaran pada siklus I sebesar 92,31% dan siklus II mencapai 100%. Aktivitas belajar peserta didik pada siklus I sebesar 77,27% dan siklus II sebesar 90,91%. Hasil belajar menunjukkan jumlah peserta didik yang tuntas pada siklus I adalah 18 orang dengan persentase 81,82% dan siklus II adalah 21 orang dengan persentase 95,45%.</p><p> </p><p class="StyleAuthorBold"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>The research aimed to improve the activities and learning outcomes of students, as well as to find out the learning process using SAVI learning models assisted by flashcard at Expression System material for Class VIII SMP Negeri 5 Bunut Hulu. The research subjects were 22 students of class VIII. The research method used classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The instruments used observation sheets of the learning process and learning activities, as well as learning achievement test questions. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistics. The results showed that the learning process in the first cycle was 92.31% and the second cycle reached 100%. Learning activities of students in the first cycle was 77.27% and the second cycle was 90.91%. Learning outcomes show the number of students who completed in the first cycle was 18 people with a percentage of 81.82% and the second cycle was 21 people with a percentage of 95.45%.</em></p>
The purpose of this study is to produce discovery learning based on valid, practical and effective discovery. This research is a research development using a modification of the development model of 4-D (Four D-Models) learning tools, consisting of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The instruments of this study were the worksheet validation sheets, practical sheets, student worksheets and worksheet effectiveness sheets. Some stages in this research consist of the development study phase and the evaluation phase to test the effectiveness and test the feasibility of new student worksheets for use in learning. Validity category research results obtained an average of 3.7 with a valid category. In the practicality category the worksheets were developed based on student assessments with an average of 3.83 and based on teacher ratings of 3.63 by being in the practical category. The results of the effectiveness of learning obtained by the achievement of teacher activity with an average of 4.37 with active categories. For observations of student activities during learning takes place an average of 3.73 with the category is in active criteria. In conclusion, the development of Discovery Learning based on LKS is categorized as valid, practical and effective to be used by students in building material on flat sides, cubes and beams. The purpose of this study was to produce mathematics teaching materials based on the JUCAMA Learning Model to Improve Problem Solving and Mathematical Communication Skills of Students in Class VII SMPN 3 Sindang Kelingi, Rejang Lebong Regency. This research is a development research using a modification of the 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) which is limited to the 3rd stage. The subjects of this study were 30 students of Class VII SMPN 3 Sindang Kelingi, Rejang Lebong Regency. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: Mathematics teaching materials based on the JUCAMA learning model are valid, practical, and effective. The results of the development of mathematics teaching materials based on the JUCAMA learning model can improve problem solving skills with an average achievement of 79.8% which is classically included in the high category and can improve mathematical communication skills with an average achievement of 81% which is classically included in high category. Conclusion. Mathematics teaching materials based on the JUCAMA learning model can improve students' problem solving and mathematical communication skills, besides that the teaching materials developed are valid, practical, and effective in orienting students through solving and proposing mathematical problems.
