This study aims to determine the effect of Geogebra learning media on the quadratic function material on motivation and learning outcomes in class IX MTsN Gresik. The method of this research used experimental research mapped in class IX -C and IX-D. Class IX-C as a control class and class IX-D as an experimental class. Where each class there are 28 students. Data collection techniques used were pretest, post-test and questionnaire. Pretest and post-test were used to determine effect of Geogebra on student learning outcomes, while the questionnaire was used to determine the effect of Geogebra on students' learning motivation. Data analysis uses z-test analysis. The results of the study showed that : (1) Geogebra learning media on quadratic function material influences students' learning motivation, (2) student learning outcomes using Geogebra learning media on quadratic function material are better than students who do not use Geogebra.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Menganalisis Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Motivasi Belajar Siswa SDN 093 Kecamatan Panyabungan Kota Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriftif dengan cara mengumpulkan data baik secara langsung turun ke lapangan untuk mendapatkan informasi yang akurat tentang objek penelitian penulis, sumber data yang digunakan berupa data skunder dan primer, dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, (1) motivasi belajar siswa adalah untuk mendapatkan hadiah, pujian, prestasi, dan nilai yang bagus; ( 2) faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar siswa adalah faktor internal yaitu faktor yang bersumber dari dalam diri siswa yaitu kondisi jasmani dan rohani, kemampuan siswa, dan perhatian. Kedua faktor eksternal yaitu faktor yang bersumber dari luar diri siswa seperti upaya guru membelajarkan siswa, fasilitas belajar dan kondisi lingkungan di sekitar siswa.
An ability to tell stories in early childhood needs to be supported by interesting media. One of the effective media for children is hand puppet media. Hand puppet media can develop communication, and activate children's cognitive and five senses. The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the improvement of storytelling skills through hand puppet media. This study uses a qualitative approach, the data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data by source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of this study found that improving the ability to tell stories through hand puppet media in group B children taught by educators RA Darus Salam Sumberbaru based on the advice of the principal. And the use of hand puppet media was carried out for five to eight meetings. Suatu kemampuan bercerita pada anak usia dini perlu ditunjang dengan media yang menarik. Salah satu media yang efekif bagi anak yaitu media boneka tangan. Media boneka tangan dapat mengembangkan komunikasi, dan mengaktifkan kognitif serta panca indera anak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis dan mendiskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan bercerita melalui media boneka tangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan datanya dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data dengan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan bercerita melalui media boneka tangan pada anak kelompok B yang diajarkan oleh pendidik RA Darus Salam Sumberbaru berdasarkan dari himbauan kepala sekolah. Serta penggunaan media boneka tangan dilaksanakan sebanyak lima sampai delapan kali pertemuan. Kata Kunci: kemampuan bercerita, media boneka tangan
Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan kemampuan menemukan gagasan utama paragraf melalui penerapan metode inkuiri dalam pembelajaran membaca. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara melakukan observasi, pada wawancara, pengisian lembar check list, dan uji kompetensi. Setiap pelaksanaan tindakan dalam pembelajaran membaca dicatat oleh kolaborator dalam sebuah catatan lapangan. Selama tindakan, aktivitas siswa selalu dipantau dan diberi skor sesua kriteria yang ditentukan. Sementara itu, untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam menemukan gagasan utama paragraf dilakukan uji kompetensi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan diterapkannya metode inkuiri dalam pembelajaran membaca, ada peningkatan aktivitas dan kemampuan menemukan gagasan utama paragraf. Pada pembelajaran sebelum tindakan, aktivitas siswa mempunyai skor rata-rata atau mean 10,81 meningkat menjadi 13,68 pada tindakan siklus I, dan meningkat lagi menjadi 14,95 pada siklus II. Dilihat dari segi hasil, pembelajaran membaca dengan menggunakan metode inkuiri dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa berupa kemampuan menemukan gagasan utama paragraf. Skor rata-rata uji kompetensi sebelum tindakan 6,04, meningkat menjadi 7,86 pada uji siklus I, dan meningkat lagi menjadi 8,32 pada uji siklus II.Kata Kunci: aktivitas siswa, gagasan utama paragraf, metode inkuiri. The implementation of inquiry methods in the reading learning to improve the activity and ability on finding the main idea AbstractThis research is action research that aims at increasing the activity and the ability to find the main idea of a paragraph through the implementation of the inquiry methods in the reading learning. Data collected by way of observation, interviews, check list, and competency tests. Each execution of actions in reading learning was recorded by collaborators in a field note. During the action, active students were closely monitored and scored according to the criteria specified. In the meantime, a competency test was given to find out the the students' skills in finding the main idea of the paragraph. The results of this study indicate that there is an improvement in the student’s activity and the ability to find the paragraph main idea. In The learning prior to the action, the student’s activity had an average score of 10.81 and increased to 13.68 in the first cycle of action and increased again to 14.95 in the second cycle. In terms of performance, the inquiry method could improve student’s ability to find the paragraph main idea. The competency average score was 6.04 before the action and increased to 7.86 in the first cycle test, and increased again to 8.32 in the second cycle test.Keywords: student’s activeness, the paragraph main idea, inquiry method
This study aims to identify the characteristics, factors support the role of health professionals and history place of birth of the respondents in the village Ngabab Pujon Malang. Type in this research was descriptive analytic study design. Samples from this study amounted to 72 respondents who have children aged 6–24 months was taken by simple random sampling, with a population of 144 respondents. Variables examined included the respondent characteristics such as age, education, and employment. While variable support role of health workers was a boosted in the form of exclusive breast-feed to the respondent when babies aged 0–6 months. For history variables place of birth that is the location where the respondent gave birth to her baby. The entire variable was measured using the enclosed questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The result of this study is mostly mothers who are not exclusively breast-feeding are age 17–25 years which amounted to 35 (48.6%). The last education taken by the respondent is junior that is numbered 35 (48.6%). The majority of respondents worked, as many as 19 people (26.4%) worked as a farmer. Analysis of factors which support 51 health workers (70.8%) stated that health professionals do not support exclusive breast-feeding. For a history of childbed 36 people (50%) maternity midwife. The conclusion of this research is that the majority of respondents aged 19-25 years, working as a farmer, the last junior high school education does not provide exclusive breast-feeding, health professionals do not support exclusive breast-feeding. Health workers are expected to provide education and action to support exclusive breastfeeding.
