Desa Soditan merupakan salah satu desa warisan sejarah yang terletak di pusat Kecamatan Lasem, Kabupaten Rembang, Jawa Tengah. Desa Soditan terletak di sepanjang Sungai Babagan Lasem dan Jalur Pantura yang dahulu disebut sebagai jalan raya pos De Groote Post Weg yang dibangun oleh Daendels. Di desa ini terdapat kawasan heritage Pecinan dengan Klenteng Cu An Kiong-nya, rumah candu Lawang Ombo, budaya khas Kopi Nglelet dan Batik Lasem. Saat ini kawasan bersejarah ini mengalami masalah degradasi fungsi, rusaknya bangunan khas Cina, dan semakin hilangnya sense of place kawasan. Untuk itulah, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan konsep manajemen pengelolaan kawasan berdasar karakteristik khas kawasan. Adapun tahapan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengeksplorasi potensi masalah Desa Soditan terkait pengembangan kawasan bersejarah, dan merumuskan konsep manajemen pengelolaan kawasan yang sesuai. Konsep manajemen pengelolaan yang yang ditawarkan adalah kemitraan antara pemerintah, swasta, dan masyarakat. Dari konsep manajemen pengelolaan yang disusun diharapkan dapat mendukung pelestarian cagar budaya di Desa Soditan di sektor pariwisata, memperkuat sense of place kawasan bersejarah, serta mampu mendukung perekonomian daerah dan masyarakat lokal.
Children need public space, especially playing space as a means of physical activity, developing themselves, forming friendships and getting to know their surroundings. However, the density of urban settlements made it difficult to provide such space so that children use spaces like road bodies and sidewalks. Ngemplak Simongan Kampong is one of the locations for the development of Child-Friendly Thematic Kampong, which are part of the Great Gate program by the Semarang City Government. It is necessary to examine the condition of existing playing space in the kampong and to look for the most suitable playground model for the needs of children’s physical activities. This study aims to determine the model of playground needed by the children of Ngemplak Simongan Kampong to fulfill their physical activities. Quantitative methods are used to identify and map the characteristics of users, activities, selection of alternative locations for children's playground sites, and to create the most suitable model for children's playground. The results showed that Child Friendly Thematic Playground (RT 05 / RW 01) were used more by children aged 6-14 years to play soccer, so the model need to add goals, nets, lighting, and shade trees for comfort. Whereas the playground in RT 03 / RW 01 is used more by children aged 0-5 years to run around and play sand so it is necessary to add sandbox and tunnels.
The intensification of commercial activities in the triangle area along the Pemuda, Pandanaran, and Gajahmada roads in Semarang City changed land use along the main roads and resulted in a spatial, economic, and socio-cultural transformation of the community inside the area. Based on history, the kampong behind the three main streets are old kampong, including Prembaen. Prembaen, a market kampong, is facing with migration, and spatial use activities conversion. This market kampong has persisted more than 50 years and created a mutualism symbiosis between residents and migrant sellers. Although it is surrounded by giant economic activities on the main roads, the kampong and its market are resilient and continued. For this reason, research on the market kampong sustainability is significant to determine the survival of the downtown neighbourhood. The main objective of this study is to describe the Role of Prambaen Market in the golden triangle area of Semarang, to identify social interactions in the Prambaen Market, analyze the resilience of the Prambaen Market, and identify spatial sustainability in the Prambaen Market. This research tries to conduct qualitative methods to capture phenomena in selected locations. This research needs to understand the situation that remains of the downtown environment in the face of large economic forces. The results of the study show that the Prembaen Market has historical strength as well as the potential of tangible local wisdom of economic activity manifested in the daily lives of the community. The strategy to achieve Prembaen market resilience is the social interaction between traders, visitors, and residents to continue to maintain and strengthen the joint activities of Prambaen Market activities. In addition, the morphology of the Prambaen Market area is still maintained, which has not changed since long ago in the urgency of the surrounding commercial / industrial offices.
