Early reading is an essential skill that is needed to be accelerated through application-based media. This study aims to develop Pancalis as a medium for the online teaching of early reading. This study used the Research and Development (RD) approach using the ADDIE model. The subjects were two experts as well as 18 teachers and five students of elementary schools. They were established using the purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used questionnaires and scales. The data analysis used descriptive statistics. The results show that: 1) at the analysis stage through literature study, it can be concluded that Pancalis as an Android-based application is an alternative learning media for the teaching of early-reading; while the result of field study shows teachers and students need learning media for early reading that can accommodate distance learning; 2) at the design stage, the Pancalis as an Android-based application for early-reading has been produced; 3) while at the end of the development stage, an assessment was carried out through an expert validation scale and it was found that the Pancalis is very suitable for the teaching of early-reading; while the practicality response questionnaire of teachers and students shows that Pancalis is very practical to use.
Keprihatinan akan banyaknya tanyangan yang tidak mendidik anak melatarbelakangi munculnya film animasi Nussa dan Rara yang syarat akan nilai karakter. Film ini merupakan salah satu tontonan alternatif yang bisa digunakan untuk penanaman karakter melalui film. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi nilai karakter yang terdapat pada film animasi Nussa dan Rara episode Baik itu Mudah dan cara penanaman karakter pada anak melalui film Nussa dan Rara episode Baik itu Mudah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu analisis isi. Subjek penelitian ini yakni film animasi Nussa dan Rara episode Baik itu Mudah yang diambil dari laman Nussa official di Youtube. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu film animasi Nussa dan Rara episode Baik itu Mudah memuat enam nilai karakter. Keenam nilai karakter tersebut antara lain: religius, menghargai prestasi, cinta lingkungan, kerja keras, rasa ingin tahu, dan peduli sosial. Jika anak senantiasa melihat tayangan yang mendidik bahkan yang mengajarkan karakter baik, maka tak dipungkiri ke depan dia akan menjadi pribadi yang berkarakter sesuai harapan bangsa.
This article aims to describe how the application of the 2M2PR (Motivation, Multimedia, Game, Strengthening, Celebration) Method Based on Quantum Learning and Traditional Games in Indonesian language learning in elementary schools. This research is included in library research. The result obtained is that the integration of traditional games is an innovative effort in the language learning process related to national culture. Many methods can be developed in learning such as the 2M2PR method based on quantum learning and traditional games. Traditional games can be integrated with language learning such as snake and ladder games and crank games and many more. In this case, the teacher must have a creative attitude in selecting and modifying traditional games so that they are following the material to be taught. It is hoped that the 2M2PR method and the integration of traditional games in Indonesian language learning can increase attractiveness in language learning and make it easier for students to convey and understand the subject matter. In addition, integrating traditional games, can foster a sense of love for culture and introduce national culture to students from an early age. Â
This research has purpose to develop a medium of learning Indonesian language skills "Prezi Presentation Software" based. Learning Indonesian language skills is categorized as difficult learning Learning media at this time is influenced by the advancement of technological developments. Therefore, the development of learning media more emphasizes on computer-based media. One of them is the use of presentation software prezi, in purpose to develop the medium of learning Indonesian language skills in universities, especially in Primary School Teacher Education Departments. This prezi presentation software is a software whichis used to make internet-based presentations. The material which is developed using this software includes four aspects of skills, namely listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Each skill material aspect is developed in each individual prezi file. Media presentation Indonesian language skills which are prezibased developed using themes or interesting templates including various elements such as text, images, video, backsound, music and animation. In addition, the color selection is also considered to make learning media more interesting. Learning media "Prezi Presentation Software" based is expected can improve the quality of the learning process and motivate students to learn, so that learning outcomes can be improved and learning objectives can be achieved optimally.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan menyimak melalui penerapan teknik 5R pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi.Penelitian ini dilakukan di Prodi PGSD FKIP UST Yogyakarta. Subjek penelitian tindakan ini adalah mahasiswa semester 2 yang menempuh mata kuliah KBIL di Prodi PGSD FKIP UST tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari observasi, angket, wawancara atau diskusi, kajian dokumen, dan tes. Selanjutnya, untuk pemeriksaan validitas data digunakan triangulasi dan review informasi kunci. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik deskripsi komparatif untuk membandingkan hasil antar siklus. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu menunjukkan mahasiswa yang tidak tuntas pada prasiklus sebanyak 30 mahasiswa atau sebesar 65,22%, siklus I 41,31% atau 19 mahasiswa dan pada siklus II 10,87% atau 5 mahasiswa. Di sisi lain, terjadi peningkatan ketuntasan belajar yaitu pada prasiklus 34,78% atau 16 mahasiswa, meningkat menjadi 58,69% atau 27 mahasiswa pada siklus I dan 89,13% atau 41 mahasiswa pada siklus II. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata pada prasiklus hanya mencapai rata-rata 64,13 dan mengalami peningkatan menjadi 73,67 pada siklus I serta menjadi 83 pada siklus II.
