The decline in the culture of cooperation has an impact on the decrease of the student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to see the increase of critical thinking skill and cooperation in Physical Education and Health students through Problem Based Learning Model in Physical Education learning. The method used in this study was experimental method with the Randomize Pre-test and Post-test Control Group Design. The sampling technique in this study was cluster random sampling. The samples of this study were divided into two classes, namely experimental group and control group. The instrument used to measure cooperation was a questionnaire, while learning outcomes were measured by tests. The analysis of this study used SPSS 22 with t-test. This study concludes that the Problem Base Learning model is able to improve the cooperation among the students and also significantly improves learning outcomes. AbstrakMenurunnya budaya kerjasama yang juga berdampak kepada penurunan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan Kerjasama mahasiswa Penjaskesrek melalui model Problem Base Learning pada pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan Desain dalam penelitian ini adalah Randomize Pretest and Posttest Control Group Design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini di ambil secara Cluster Random Sampling, maka sampel pada penlitian ini menjadi dua kelas yaitu kelompok eksperimen kelas 6F dan kelas 6E menjadi kelompok kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kerjasama dengan menggunakan anket dan hasil belajar dengan tes. Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan SPSS 22 dengan uji t. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model Problem Base Learning mampu meningkatkan kemampuan kerjasama pada mahasiswa dan juga meningkatkan hasil belajar yang cukup signifikan.
The activities of the Community aims to provide planting character values learners through extracurricular Scouts in SMK Negeri 1 Rokan IV Koto, Rokan Hulu .Through character education, expected the learners are able to independently increase and use his knowledge, review and internalize and personalize the character values and morals noble so manifest in behavior everyday. Kegiatan community service societies was held at SMK Negeri 1 Rokan IV Koto, Rokan Hulu with p eserta is a student extracurricular Scout SMK Negeri 1 Rokan IV Koto, Rokan Hulu totalling 14 person. Material naturald this activity about the scope of the national character that must be ditanamakan against the students, who include 18 characters. As for the entire characters are: religious, honest, tolerant, disciplined, hard working, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, passion, love of the fatherland, to appreciate the achievements, friendly/communicative, peace-loving, an avid reader, care for the environment, social care, and responsibility. This activity has many benefits for students that is shaping the character of the students, make students become more appreciative fellow, trained mentally and also the moral of the learners.
The teacher-centered mindset and teaching methods are still teacher-centered, closing the space for students to develop their creative thinking abilities. This study aims to determine the thinking skills of students in physical education learning using discovery learning models. This study used a quasi-experiment method and a pretest and posttest control group design. The research sample was obtained by means of cluster random sampling with a sample amount of 70 people. The instrument that used to measure students' creative thinking skills used the Torrance Test of Creative Thinking (TTCT) which before be tested, it have conducted the validity and reability. The t test was used as the analysis of this study. Discovery learning model is proven to be able to develop students' creative thinking skills when learning physical education. This is proven by the sig value. 0,000. So the discovery learning model in physical education learning will be able to develop creative thinking on students. This learning model must be applied in various fields of education. Research on the same topic should be carried out in the future, with the variability of different educational levels of subjects or educational institutional settings
The purpose of this study is to determine how far the extent of Vo2Max capability towards female basketball athletes in Riau National Police. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with the method that used in this study is a survey method that is the collecting data that using only tests and measurements. The population of this research is the POMNAS Riau female basketball athletes. The sample in this study is 15 people with a total sampling technique, where all populations are be samples. The data analysing technique that used is descriptive statistics that aimed for collecting data, presenting data, and determining score. The data that obtained from each test is the initial data from each test item that has been achieved. Referring to the data that have been obtained, from the final results of the study and discussion, it can be concluded that the level of Vo2Max ability of POMNAS Riau female basketball athletes by using the Balke testt, amount to 15 athletes are in the category of very little. For this reason, this research needs to be followed up in the future that a coach must have a structured and continuous program so that in future the results of Vo2Max of basketball athletes will be even better without experiencing significant exhaustion.
the purpose of this research was to understand the 1) contribution of leg muscle explosive power (X1) to the skill of lay-up shoot in basketball (Y) for extracurricular activity students in Junior High School 9 Pekanbaru; 2) contribution of flexibility (X2) to the skill of lay-up shoot in basketball (Y) for extracurricular activity students in Junior High School 9 Pekanbaru; 3) contribution of the combination of leg muscle explosive power (X1) and flexibility (X2) to the skill of lay-up shoot in basketball (Y) for extracurricular activity students in Junior High School 9 Pekanbaru. The analytical technique used was a double correlation analysis, because of its ability to find the magnitude of the effect of relationship between two or more independent variables (X) simultaneously together with the dependent variable (Y). The total population in this study amounted to 41 people. The sampling technique used in this study was the Total Sampling method. The result of this research revealed that 1) there is a significant contribution of leg muscle explosive power (X1) to the skill of lay-up shoot in basketball (Y) for extracurricular activity students of Junior High School 9 Pekanbaru; 2) there is a significant contribution of flexibility (X2) to the skill of lay-up shoot in basketball (Y) for extracurricular activity students in Junior High School 9 Pekanbaru; 3) there is a significant contribution of the combination of leg muscle explosive power (X1) and flexibility (X2) to the skill of lay-up shoot in basketball (Y) for extracurricular activity students in Junior High School 9 Pekanbaru.
