The goal of this study was to assess educational technology in the string literature about breastfeeding. The study was conducted between March and September 2009 by breastfeeding experts and experts on string literature. A psychometric model was adopted as the theoretical-methodological framework. For data collection, an instrument was used to assess the content about breastfeeding and the string literature rules. The analysis was based on comparisons of the notes and critical reflections of experts. Ethical guidelines were followed during the study. After the assessments, the educational technology was adjusted until all of the experts agreed. The assessment of educational technology can reduce obstacles to information dissemination and can lead to improvements in quality of life.
Objetive: to build an educational video for early detection of trouble seeing in schoolers.Method: technology development study in three stages: pre-production, production and post-production in the period from March to December 2014. The recordings were made in a public school in Fortaleza (Brazil) and Health Communication Laboratory in the Universidade Federal do Ceará in the Department of Nursing.Results: about the evaluation of content, the script was considered valid by all experts. Four (44.4%) approved the script of the video and five (55.5%) approved with modifications. For technical experts, three (60%) considered it approved with modifications, while two (40%) judged it as approved (IVC≥0,8). In post-production, it was suggested changes in length, audio and esthetics. The video ended with 16 minutes and 14 seconds. CONCLUSION:it is believed that the educational video together to health professionals interventions contribute to the public understanding of the subject, resulting in early diagnosis of trouble seeing and resolving eye problems. Resultados: sobre la evaluación del contenido, el guión fue considerada válida por todos los expertos. Cuatro (44,4%) aprobó el guión del video y cinco (55,5%) aprobó con modificaciones. En cuanto a los expertos técnicos, tres (60%) consideró que aprobó con modificaciones, mientras que dos (40%) juzgados como aprobado (IVC≥0,8). En post-producción, se sugirió cambios en la longitud, el audio y la estética. El vídeo termina con 16 minutos y 14 segundos. Literatura de cordel são folhetos impressos, com ilustrações xilográficas. Neste estudo objetivou-se analisar as mensagens e linguagens nos folhetos que abordam o tema Vírus da Imunodeficiência Humana e a Síndrome da Imunodeficiência Adquirida. Trata-se de um estudo exploratório-descritivo do tipo documental, precedido de busca sistemática de cordéis, de agosto a novembro de 2006. Dos folhetos pesquisados, três abordavam a Síndrome da Imunodeficiência Adquirida. A análise de conteúdo direcionou a construção de cinco categorias: origem, ação, conseqüências e transmissão do vírus; mulher x infecção; situação em que não há contaminação pelo vírus; prevenção; e literatura de cordel como meio de comunicação em saúde. Os cordelistas apresentaram conteúdo informativo satisfatório para produzir no imaginário dos indivíduos um alerta favorável à inserção de medidas de prevenção e controle da Síndrome da Imunodeficiência Adquirida. O cordel revelou-se ferramenta de comunicação para promoção à saúde.
Objective: To describe the perception of nursing students before and after the completion of an elective course -People with physical and sensory deficits: approaches and trends in nursing. Methods: This exploratory, descriptive, qualitative approach was conducted using a questionnaire administered to students taking this course in three different years: [2007][2008][2009]. Participants included 96 students who described their perceptions using the research questionnaire. Results: The participants ranged in age between 17 -37 years, and were enrolled in the 1st, 2nd or 5th semesters of their nursing education program. Responses were grouped into five categories: communication and relationship with people with deficits, relevance of the discipline, proportionate growth, educating professionals, positive / negative issues and suggestions. Conclusion: The findings suggest that the course contributed to the education of students and future professionals about caring for people with physical and sensory deficits. Métodos: Estudo exploratório, descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa, desenvolvido por meio de questionário aplicado em três períodos: 2007.2; 2008.2 e 2009.1. Participaram do estudo 96 alunos que descreveram suas percepções em relação à disciplina supracitada nesse instrumento de coleta de dados. Resultados: A idade desse grupo de alunos situou-se entre 17 e 37 anos e encontravam-se matriculados no 1º, 2º e 5º semestres letivos. As respostas foram agrupadas em cinco categorias: Comunicação e relacionamento com pessoas com deficiência; Relevância da disciplina; Crescimento proporcionado; Capacitação de profissionais, e Pontos positivos / negativos e sugestões. Conclusão: Concluiu-se que a disciplina contribuiu na formação dos alunos ao capacitar futuros profissionais de enfermagem para o cuidado às pessoas com deficiência. This study aimed to construct an assistive technology about breastfeeding for validation among blind people. This technology is a string that will be sung by street musicians, and then evaluated by blind people. It was performed in May and June 2008 and comprises 32 units of six lines, distributed in categories: 1. Composition of mother's milk; 2. Myths and taboos; 3. Professional, family and breastfeeding; 4. Advantages of breastfeeding for the child; 5. Advantages of breastfeeding for the mother and family; 6. Communication in health. By elaborating the string the importance of nurses in health promotion and disease prevention and it can use the string as a means for communication and encouragement of breastfeeding is highlighted.
