This research discusses about umah pitu ruang found in the Gayo community in Tanah Gayo, Aceh. The purpose of the study is to describe the meaning umah pitu ruang and the history of the emergence of umah pitu ruang in the Gayo community. This study uses the historical method using five stages, namely topic selection, heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The results showed that umah pitu ruang is a series of words from the Gayo language, umah means house, pitu means seven, and space means space. Thus, umah pitu ruang can be interpreted as a house with seven rooms. The term umah itself is the influence of Austronesian traditions and languages. Umah pitu ruang is thought to have appeared hundreds of years ago long before the emergence of the Linge Kingdom. It all started with the arrival of the ancestors of the Gayo tribe who initially lived in baking pans but later built simple stilt houses. Over time, the number of residents, cultural, and customary knowledge that developed led to the emergence of umah pitu ruang.
Sanggar Asri merupakan kelompok pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil (UMK) sebagai pengrajin gerabah di kota Langsa, Propinsi Aceh. Keberadaan sebagai industri kecil pengrajin gerabah satu-satunya yang ada di kota Langsa perlu mendapat dukungan dan perhatian untuk pengembangannya. Permasalahan utama mitra yaitu produksi gerabah di mitra Sanggar Asri yaitu terbatasnya alat produksi gerabah, yang masih menggunakan meja putar konvensional. Meja putar yang digunakan untuk membentuk pola (mendesain) dasar gerabah berasal dari tanah liat sampai terbentuk gerabah. Penggunaan meja putar manual, mengakibatkan jumlah gerabah yang dihasilkan sangat sedikit untuk setiap harinya dan memerlukan tenaga lebih besar bagi pengrajin dalam proses pengerjaannya. Penjualan gerabah masih terbatas dengan konvensional yaitu penjualan dengan memanjang di gerai, sehingga diperlukan optimalisasi penjualan secara online melalui e-commerce. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat terbagi menjadi 3 tahapan utama: (1) Persiapan, meliputi: Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dengan mitra, persiapan alat dan bahan yang diperlukan, (2) Pelaksanaan Tahap 1, meliputi: Perancangan desain alat teknologi meja putar (temtar) gerabah, Pembuatan temtar, Penggunaan temtar dan pendesainan produk gerabah motif khas Aceh, dan Pelaksanaan Tahap 2: desain E-commerce, pelatihan E-commerce dan Penjualan melalui E-Commerce (3) Monitoring dan Evaluasi program. Tujuan kegiatan ini penerapan teknologi meja putar (temtar) gerabah dan E-Commerece sebagai optimalisasi peningkatan produksi gerabah dan peningkatan hasil penjualan secara online. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu tersedianya 2 unit alat teknologi mejar putar dan 1 unit E-Commerce bagi UMK Sanggar Asri.Kata Kunci: Teknologi Meja Putar, E-Commerce, Gerabah
Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan masih kurangnya pengetahuan guru tentang cara penulisan artikel ilmiah dan cara mempublikasikannya. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini agar pada Guru Sejarah Tingkat SMK di Kota Langsa dapat termotivasi untuk menulis artikel ilmiah serta dapat mengirimkan artikelnya pada jurnal tertentu. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini yaitu menginformasikan penyusunan artikel ilmiah yang baik dan melakukan pendampingan kepada peserta dalam proses menulis artikel. Hasil dari kegiatan ini, seluruh peserta termotivasi untuk menulis artikel ilmiah. Guru-guru memahami cara penulisan karya ilmiah dengan langkah prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, dan publishing. Selain itu guru juga mengenal beberapa link jurnal sejarah yang bisa dijadikan sebagai tempat publikasi karya ilmiah serta cara pengiriman artikel ilmiah tersebut. Kegiatan ini juga dapat memberikan kesempatan para guru untuk berperan serta dalam perlombaan karya tulis ilmiah yang bisa mendapatkan insentif jika memenangkan perlombaan.
The principal as the leader directly is a real example in the work activities in the school environment. This study aims to look at the principal's leadership behavior, the relationship between the principal's leadership behaviors towards strengthening the character education of vocational students. This research uses a quantitative approach, using a cross-sectional survey method. The results of this study are based on the results of data processing obtained that five school principals have good leadership behavior with a percentage of 55.56%, and four school principals have reasonably good behavior with a percentage of 44.44%. Partial test results obtained there is a relationship between the principal's leadership behavior towards strengthening the character education of vocational students on the east coast of Aceh, principal's leadership behavior 58.8% to the student's character education. Based on the results of data processing, it is obtained that from 9 vocational high schools in the eastern part of Aceh that were studied, 5 schools (55.56%) principals had good leadership behaviors, and 4 schools (44.44 %) the principal has a fairly good leadership behavior. From the partial test results obtained that there is a relationship between the principal's leadership behaviors towards the education of the character strengthening of vocational students on the coast of East Aceh.
