This study aimed to analyze the income of traditional fishermen, the characteristics of individual traditional fishermen who have the ability to resilience, the factors that support the resilience of traditional fishermen, and the resilience strategies of traditional fishermen against the coastal pollution pressure from the impact of tin mining. This research used a survey method with a purposive sampling technique. The research was conducted in Bangka Tengah Regency, covering Sampur village, Pangkalan Baru sub-district and Baskara Bhakti village, Namang sub-district. The respondents in this study were traditional fishermen with more than 20 years of experience. Data collection methods in this study included primary data and secondary data. Primary data was collected using questionnaires, observation and documentation tools. Secondary data was collected through a literature study. The data was analyzed using a descriptive quantitative method. The result of the research showed that the average income of traditional fishermen is IDR 300,000 - IDR 800,000 per month. Fishermen have individual characteristics including: Insight, Independence, Relationships, Initiative, Creativity, Humor, and Morality. The factors that support the resilience of traditional fishermen are: individuals (the ability to overcome problems; family (family support); and Community (environmental support to deal with pressure). The strategy of traditional fishermen’s resilience to coastal pollution pressures due to tin mining is innovative and creative. So it is suggested that as an effort to empower traditional fishermen, the government can develop a capture fishery business into a larger business scale increase the income of traditional fishermen.
The purpose of this study is to test the hypothesis of the influence of independent variables namely ROI, ROE, EPS, DER, CSR while the dependent variable is Stock Return. This research approach is a fixed effect approach, general effects, and random effects approach. The sample used in this study was 19 Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2018 period. The results showed that ROI, ROE, EPS, and DER partially did not affect Stock Return, while CSR partially affected stock returns on Manufacturing Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2015-2018 period. This means that the companies sampled in this study stated that CSR is a form of commitment in improving welfare through social and environmental responsibility, CSR also provides long-term benefits by increasing the company's reputation and branding, efficiency, internal party appreciation, and strong profitability.
The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that affect the development of the KEK Tourism Kelayang Cape as an alternative economy after tin mining. The research method used with quantitative descriptive design, the number of samples are 80 SME based on Tourism. Analysis of the data by using the second order analysis with the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) or known as PLS Formative with the XLSTAT PLS-PM Progam. Research findings indicate that the factors that affect the development of KEK Tourism Kelayang Cape, sequentially from the largest is a media networking and communication Industry, the behavior and consumer reactions, marketing strategy, politic-economicsocial support and technology, government regulation, natural environment, skills and expertise and Industrial action and the competition. The results of research has implications for the management practices that within the framework of the speed up the development of KEK Tourism Kelayang Cape, The most important is the more expand network media and communication industry in the current digital era, but the best performance is skills and expertise but this dimension is not so important. Research Originality : This research carried out in the election of 1 from 10 tourism destinations in Indonesia is the area of the KEK (Special Economic Zone), based on tourism , in The Belitung Island, by focusing on the factors that affect the development of tourism in Belitung Island.
Increased investment in the region is one of the important instruments in achieving sustainable regional economic development to the welfare of society. The investment value of East Belitung province until 2013 in the fourth quarter increased in the amount of18% or Rp. 462,807,663,854 which was also in line with the growth of projects and labors unless the marine and tourism sector. Based on preliminary observation, this diversity is probably caused by low development strategy and competitiveness whereas Beltim economic development vision is: "Creating East Belitung as the Regional Industry with Agriculture, Marine and Fisheries, and Integrated Economic Democracy-Based on Bangka Belitung Archipelago". The method used was descriptive-verificative with verification analysis tool by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through variants structure-based approach or Partial Least Square Path Modeling. The number of respondents was 48 people consisting of four elements, namely local government offices, business people, BUMD directors, and academic personnel. The results show that there is a positive and significant effect of the development strategy and contribution of regional competitiveness for Marine-Tourism industry investment. The role of development strategy and regional competitiveness is significantly to improve the industry investment of Marine-Tourism. Regional competitiveness variable causes greater effect than development strategy. Therefore, East Belitung regency should improve its competitiveness as soon as possible either institutional, political and sociocultural security, regional economics, labor and physical infrastructure.
The sea cucumber with the Latin name Holothuria scabra has high economic value. This leads to overfishing in nature. One of the areas in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province that produces sand sea cucumbers is the Coastal Village of Batu Aer, Simpang Pesak District, East Belitung Regency. The problems faced by partners at this time are: 1) Partners do not have the skills to manage the sea cucumber cultivation business, because they still catch from nature; and 2) Partners do not have knowledge related to sea cucumber cultivation technology. This activity is expected to contribute, among others: 1) Helping traditional fishermen to get a side business from sea cucumber cultivation; and 2) Increasing the income of traditional fishermen from sea cucumber cultivation. The outputs resulting from this activity are: 1) Increasing the quantity and quality of cultivation products; 2) Improving community understanding and skills for sea cucumber cultivation; and 3) Increasing people's income.
