The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of career development in influencing competence on teacher performance. The study was conducted in all the high schools in Jember. The variables used in this study consisted of competence, career development and teacher performance. The type of research is a quantitative approach research with explanatory research methods. The population is all economics teachers in Jember City Public High School. The method used to determine the sample is purposive sampling with the criteria of permanent teachers who have worked for 2 years at a minimum. Data analysis method uses path analysis. After being analyzed, the results of the t test and path analysis, can be seen that competence has a significant effect on teacher career development and teacher performance. The analysis also shows that career development is able to mediate competence in teacher performance. A teacher who has competence, it will be easy to develop a career which will have an impact on performance. Professional teachers, will always have high demands in their work, so with competence and good career development, the performance will also be better.
Fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa ekonomi bisnis sering dianggap sulit oleh para siswa. Hal ini diindikasikan oleh hasil belajar siswa yang kurang memuaskan yang berakibat pada proses belajar mengajar yang kurang memuaskan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi bisnis dengan model pembelajaran multiple intelligences semester gasal kelas X AP 1. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan metode pengambilan data metode observasi dan metode dokumemter. Setelah dilakukan penelitian di dapatkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran multiple intelligences Data yang diperoleh dari pra tindakan, siklus I, dan siklus II menunjukkan adanya peningkatan Prestasi belajar siswa (kreatifitas dan evaluasi). Dimana prestasi belajar siswa (kreatifitas) pada komponen bertanya pada guru 13,88% meningkat menjadi 30,55%, komponen menjawab pertanyaan guru yang sebelumnya 22,22% pada pra tindakan meningkat menjadi 36,11%, komponen memberi pendapat yang sebelumnya 16,66% pada pra tindakan meningkat menjadi 19,44%, untuk komponen memahami tugas yang diberikan pada pra tindakan 30,55% meningkat menjadi 69,44%. Sedangkan perolehan prestasi belajar siswa (evaluasi) dengan perolehan nilai evaluasi < 60,00 pada pra tindakan 50% meningkat menjadi 36,11%, nilai 60 -69 pada pra tindakan 33,33% meningkat menjadi 41,66%, dan perolehan nilai 70 -80 pada pra tindakan 16,67% meningkat menjadi 22,22%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dengan model pembelajaran Multiple Intelegences dapat berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar Siswa kelas X AP 1 SMK Negeri 4 Jember, serta model pembelajaran ini dapat diterapkan sebagai salah satu alternatif pembelajaran pada mata pelejaran Ekonomi Bisnis. An effective way to retain employees is to maintain and foster a harmonious relationship between the organization and its employees. Good treatment of the company to its employees, will form a positive perception in the minds of its employees so that it arises in the name of engagement or employee engagement. Employees who have an attachment to the company will certainly have a sense of job satisfaction. Employee management must be directed to the ability to elevate Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) through the job satisfaction of its employees, this is mainly because of the employee engagement function that provides a set of values for setting company priorities. The problem of employee engagement is essential for a company, because it will always be related to life in the company. The population of this research is all 557 permanent employees in East Java. The sample in this study was selected using the multistage sampling method. After mapping, eight offices were netted, namely Jember, Malang, Mojokerto, Pasuruan, Sidoarjo, Surabaya Karimunjawa, Surabaya Rungkut, and East Java Regional Office as many as 207. The research hypotheses proposed were 2 and were tested using the path analysis method. The conclusion is that employee engagement and job satisfaction partially affect the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) of East Java BPJS employees and employee engagement has a significant effect on job satisfaction of East Java BPJS Employees. Compensation is one form of efforts to reduce the high turnover of employees. Therefore, the presence of a good compensation, the employee will keep his job. And this is one form of motivation given the company's employee retention. Not only compensation that can affect employee retention. The work environment also affect employee retention. Any organization or company seeking better working conditions and satisfactory, so that employees in the work can feel satisfied with the work he did. The low turn over to the PT. Senyum Media Utama Jember indicate high commitment of its employees, but still there are employees who do not survive or out of the company although the amount is very minimal, so it needs to be tested how the compensation, organizational commitment and the work environment influence on satisfaction and retention. The population in this study were employees of PT. Senyum Media Utama Jember as much as 150. The sample is observed is determined by purposive sampling method with the remaining number is 108. The analytical tool used is the analysis of SEM. Based on the analysis of the study results and discussion, it can be concluded that compensation, organizational commitment and the work environment influence on satisfaction and retention and satisfaction may mediate compensation, organizational commitment and work environment on employee retention. The observed sample is determined by purposive sampling method with the remaining number is 108. The analytical tool used is the analysis of SEM. Penerapan hybrid learning diharapkan mampu memperbaiki nilai mahasiswa di semua mata kuliah tidak terkecuali mata kuliah kewirausahaan. Dosen dapat menerapkan komposisi 65% tatap muka dan 35% daring. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada mahasiswa angkatan 2020 pada program studi pendidikan ekonomi dan manajemen, khususnya mereka yang menempuh matakuliah kewirausahaan. Dipilih mata kuliah kewirausahaan karena peminatnya banyak dan ada materi menarik yaitu businees plan dan digital marketing yang mana pembahasannya serta pengaplikasiannya membutuhkan tatap muka dan sharing lebih dalam dengan mahasiswa. Variabel yang difokuskan adalah motivasi belajar dan nilai kewirausahaan. Apakah traetment hybrid learning mampu menambah motivasi belajar mahasiwa? Apakah nilai mereka akan meningkat juga. Dengan menggunakan posttest dan pretest serta uji beda, maka dapat diambil suatu kesimpulan bahwa Skor motivasi dan nilai kewirausahaan mahasiswa meningkat setelah pembelajaran hybrid learning pada mahasiswa prodi Manajemen. Motivasi belajar dan hasil nilai kewirausahaan ada beda pada saat sebelum menggunakan hybrid learning dan setelah menggunakan hybrid learning, hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa pembelajaran hybrid learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar kewirausahaan mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi dan Manajemen Universitas PGRI Argopuro Jember.
