<p>Neocuspidisation of the aortic valve with autopericardial leaflets has been actively introduced into widespread cardiac surgery practice within the last decade. Most practicing surgeons associate this technique with scientists such as Carlos Duran and Shigeyuki Ozaki. The accumulated experience of the N. N. Burdenko Faculty of Surgery Clinic of Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University allows us to optimize approaches to autopericardial neocuspidisation of the aortic valve in order to increase the availability of procedures. The article describes in detail the technique of neocuspidisation of the aortic valve, as well as reveals some technical features and improvements regarding the quality of this procedure.</p><p>Received 23 September 2020.
