This study aims to find out and analyze the effect of income inequality and poverty on economic growth on each island in Indonesia. To answer these objectives, panel data regression (pooled data) is used. The results of the study show: (1). the best regressions on estimation models are based on the Chow and the Hausman test using the Fixed Effect Model estimation model for each island in Indonesia. (2). Income and poverty inequality negatively affected economic growth in all islands in Indonesia during the 2015-2018.
This study aims to analyze: 1) the effect of economic growth on income inequality of provinces in Indonesia; 2) the effect of economic growth on the poverty of provinces in Indonesia. The data used are secondary data which includes time series data for 2010-2016 and cross section data of 34 provinces in Indonesia. Data were analyzed by panel data regression. The results of the analysis found that increasing economic growth led to increased income inequality and the number of poor people in the provinces in Indonesia.

The purpose of this study was to measure and analyze the degree of fiscal decentralization in Bungo district during the years 2000 to 2010 as well as analyzing the relationship of GDP to the degree of fiscal decentralization during the same period. The results of this study indicate that the degree of fiscal decentralization PAD average of only 9.247, which means much less, then the Tax Revenue and Non Tax even though the degree of fiscal decentralization is higher in the amount of 10.434, but still lacking in the category. Furthermore, to donations / aid from the Provincial and Local Grants instead showed a lower value of the degree of fiscal decentralization of local revenue, which amounted to only 3.187 (much less). This indicated that the District Government of Bungo still very large dependence on the Central Government. It is also indicated by the high ratio of financial dependency Bungo Regency on income transfers from the central government which is an average of 87.57%. The ability of local governments to manage finances is stated in the regional revenue and expenditure budget (APBD). The higher the regional expenditure allocation in the APBD, the higher the level of economic growth to reduce or alleviate the level of poverty. The variables that affect economic growth and poverty include regional expenditure. This study aims to determine the effect of regional spending on economic growth and poverty in regencies/cities in Jambi province partially or collectively. The analytical method used is simple regression analysis with a panel data model. The results showed that regional spending has a negative and partially insignificant effect on economic growth. Regional expenditure has a positive and minor impact on poverty levels in districts/cities in Jambi Province. Keywords: Local government, Economic growth, Poverty.
