This article aims to describe: (1) Student research trends in terms of themes, fields of study, and methodology; (2) Suitability between research and the student's field of science; and (3) The basis for determining the field of research of students of the Master of Islamic Education Management Study Program at UIN Alauddin Makassar. This research is quantitative descriptive. The samples were determined based on the purposive sampling technique, namely students who had completed their studies were 85 people. The data techniques used were documentation and interviews. Then the results were analyzed through descriptive statistics and supported by interview results. The results showed that: (1) Student research trends, including: (a) tended to be on the theme of schools, madrasah and boarding school; (b) tends to organizational behavior, SBM, and leadership; (c) tends to use a qualitative approach; (2) Students have adjusted their research studies to the field of educational management; and (3) The basis for determining the student's field of study is motivated by its suitability with the field of work, experience in lectures and the work environment, as well as that of a general nature.
This research aims to describe the implementation of madrasah-based quality improvement management at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 5 Bulukumba, South Sulawesi. This research is a qualitative study with a phenomenological approach. The data sources in this study were obtained through the headmaster, teachers, education personnel, and the local community around Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 5 Bulumba. The data collection techniques used are observations, interviews, and documentation. Processing techniques and data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and verification or withdrawal of conclusions. The results showed that the madrasah-based quality management at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 5 Bulukumba was essentially applied through the involvement of various parties to perform activities in the Madrasah, but not yet walked in accordance with the expected. This is characterized by the lack of discipline of the madrasah and still lack of cooperation with parents of students or communities in the implementation of madrasah-based quality management.
The Relationship Between The Entrepreneurial Competence of Madrasah Principals and The Welfare Level of Madrasah TeachersThis article aims to test: 1) The level of correlation between the innovation ability of madrasah principals with the walfare of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers in Dua Boccoe District, Bone Regency; 2) The level of correlation between the ability to work hard at madrasah principals with the walfare of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers in Dua Boccoe District, Bone Regency; 3) The level of correlation between the ability of madrasah principals to provide motivation with the welfare of Madarasah Tsanawiyah teachers in Dua Boccoe District, Bone Regency. The type of research used is correlational research with a positivistic-quantitative methodological approach with sociological and psychological studies. The population in this study were 77 teachers. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to respondents and analyzed using product moment correlation analysis. The results sho wed that: (1) There is a positive correlation between the innovation ability of madrasah principals with the welfare of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers in Dua Boccoe District, Bone Regency; (2) There is a positive correlation between the ability to work hard at Madrasah principals with the welfare of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers in Dua Boccoe District, Bone Regency; (3) There is a positive correlation between the ability of madrasah principals to provide motivation with the welfare of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers in Dua Boccoe District, Bone Regency.
