Aim:The aim of this study was to detect specific immunoglobulin (Ig) that could be used to determine monoclonal antibody in conjugate-making an effort for the indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) diagnostic kit of toxocariasis in human.Materials and Methods:The study was conducted to assess the Ig profile, based on ELISA-isotyping, in mice infected with second stage larvae eggs of Toxocara cati. The optical density values of anti-T. cati mice serum IgG subclasses were analyzed by applying ANOVA factorial.Results:The specific IgG subclass in mice infected with T. cati mice was found to be IgG2β.Conclusion:Subclass of IgG, especially IgG2β, can provide leads about the use of the monoclonal antibody in conjugate making an effort for the indirect ELISA diagnostic kit.
Dairy cow’s is one of an animal which produce milk. It capable to supply the high necessary of milk in Indonesia. Many factors can influence milk production. Genetic, age, udder size, weight, lactation period, feed are the important part to decided milk production. The research aimed to study the correlation of morphometry based on chest circumference, body length, height, udder circumference, high of udder toward milk production. Data taken in form of chest circumference, body length, height, udder circumference, high of udder, and milk production. Data have been collated and analysize using regression analysis with SPSS software. The result showed that high of udder have a correlation with milk production. Chest circumference, body length, height, and udder circumference have no showed a correlation with milk production.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi suatu protein dengan berat molekul 46 kDa yang diduga sebagai epidermal growth factor (EGF) yang diisolasi dari oosit sapi yang telah dimaturasi secara in vitro dengan metode elektroforesis. Ovarium sapi yang berasal dari rumah potong hewan, diaspirasi pada folikel dengan diameter permukaan ≤5 mm menggunakan spuit dan jarum. Oosit dimaturasi dalam tissue culture medium (TCM) 199 selama 22 jam pada suhu 38,5° C di dalam inkubator CO2. Preparasi protein dengan berat molekul 46 kDa menggunakan sodium dodecyl sulphate polyacrilamide gel elektroforesis (SDS PAGE). Berdasarkan perhitungan jumlah regresi dari protein marker, didapatkan 12 fraksi protein yaitu BM 172,7; 153,09; 118,24; 102,43; 89,27; 59,75; 46,41; 43,82; 40,2; 36,06; 23,45; dan 18,42 kDa. Protein dengan berat molekul 46,41 kDa yang tampak pada pita protein dapat diidentifikasi sebagai protein yang diduga EGF yang berperan dalam proses maturasi oosit.
