This study aims to determine the effect of MASTER learning models (Motivating, Acquiring, Searching, Triggering, Exhibiting, and Reflecting) on mathematical literacy in terms of gender differences. The method used in this study is Quasy Experimental Design. A random sampling technique took a sample of 60 students. Data collection is carried out with written tests and documentation. The method uses an analysis of variance (ANOVA). Hypothesis testing uses two different path tests of variance analysis in cells. The results showed that there were mixed effects of each learning model on students' mathematical literacy abilities. There was no influence between female and male gender on students' mathematical literacy abilities. There was no interaction between learning models and gender differences in students' mathematical literacy abilities. The teacher must strive to improve the mathematical literacy skills of middle school students so that students are more motivated to learn. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran MASTER (Motivating, Acquiring, Searching, Triggering, Exhibiting, and Reflecting)terhadap literasi matematis ditinjau dari perbedaan gender. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasy Experimental Design. Sampel sebanyak 60 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan tes tertulis dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis variansi (ANOVA). Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji analisis variansi dua jalan sel tak sama. Hasil penelitian menunjukanterdapat pengaruh yang berbeda antara masing-masing model pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis peserta didik. Tidak terdapat pengaruh antara gender perempuan dan laki-laki terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis peserta didik. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan perbedaan gender terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis peserta didik. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi matematis peserta didik SMP, pendidik harus berupaya agar peserta didik lebih termotivasi untuk belajar.
This study is based on the problems that occur in mathematics subjects, where most of the content is abstract, not a few students who find it difficult to learn. This should receive special attention from several parties, such as teachers, school environment, guardians, and the environment. because the subjects of mathematics is one of the mandatory lessons that must be studied all levels of primary and secondary education. This study aims to describe learning difficulties in understanding the anxiety of learners on learning mathematics class X in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Kotaagung Tanggamus District. In this study population of 37 students with sampling technique in this study using purposive sampling and random class. Data collection in this research is a field data record using documentation, observation, questionnaire, and interview. Learning difficulties can be interpreted as a condition in the learning process characterized by the presence of certain barriers to achieve learning outcomes. In this study more mangacu on the subject of anxiety learners who become obstacles in achieving the objectives of learning .. This research is a type of qualitative research and validity techniques in this study using time triangulation. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion of learning difficulties in understanding students in learning mathematics can be concluded that the factors that affect learning difficulties are physical and physical factors and external factors that are family and environmental factors. Anxiety of learners with low anxiety category is more noticeable and very passionate in mathematics learning compared to the other two categories namely medium anxiety category and high anxiety.
This research has two goals that are to produce a product in the form of interactive computer-based mathematics learning media on linear equations system of two variables and to know the effectiveness of the product that has been developed. This research method is done by using 7 steps as a step to produce the product based on Borg and Gall development model that modified by Sugiyono. Based on the data analysis obtained from material experts and media experts stated that the interactive computer-based mathematics learning media is appropriate to be used based on the validator's validation indicator in which the validator indicator by the material expert is the quality of the content, the accuracy of coverage, language and feasibility of presentation, while the assessment indicator from media experts include visual communications, language, implementation, and software engineering. based on data analysis obtained from learners stated that multimedia learning interactions very good. This means that multimedia interactive computer-based learning that has been developed by researchers can be used as one of the learning resources of students of SMP / MTs class VIII.
The low mathematical communication skills in SMA 2 Natar, South Lampung, are caused by various factors, including the assumption that mathematics is very difficult so students still tend to be passive. The purpose of this study was to determine the mathematical communication skills of students who used the Gerlach and Ely learning models that characterized Islamic values better than conventional learning. The population in this study were students of class X Natar 2 Public High School. This research is a preexperimental design with one-group pretest-posttest type. The test prerequisite analysis was done by Liliefors test for normality and F test for homogeneity, then the data were analyzed using N-Gain test and correlated t-test. The results of the analysis in the t-test test correlates mathematical communication skills in the material of the nilier equation system three variables at the significance level α = 0.05 obtained by tcount = 24.19 Ttable = 2.045 24, Thitung> T table so that in the calculation of H0 is rejected. Similarly, mathematical communication skills can be improved after using the Gerlach and Ely learning model characterized by Islamic values on the subject of the three-variable linear equation system.
