The purpose of this research is to look at the feasibility of powtoon learning media on subjects by using blocks as learning resources, view responses to media using blocks on subjects, and see students' understanding ability after being given learning through powtoon media using blogs. The target of this research is lecturers and students who carry out learning with powtoon assistance at Medan State University. The method used to obtain the required information is to use the Google form questionnaire that is given online to lecturers and students and wants to see the understanding of students in using powtoon media. The results obtained from this study are Powtoon-assisted blog media in the Mathematics Learning Evaluation course declared valid with 88.2% included in the "very feasible" category, student responses to the media received a percentage of 90% included in the "very interesting" category, and occurred an increase in students' understanding of the Mathematics Learning Evaluation teaching material can be seen from the gain index of an increase of 0.61 which is categorized as a high or significant increase
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Moodle on student learning motivation as well as to find out the result of learning improvement of students who were learned using Moodle. This research was conducting by experimental study which using the Descent Nonequivalent Control Group Design using two groups, the experimental group, and the control group. This research used test and questionnaire (non-test) to collect the data. Based on the result of the study it showed that by using Moodle learning significantly affect motivation of the students. Also, based on the test description it was found that the average score of learning outcomes was increased. Students’ average score on pretest was 67.6 while on posttest the average score was 92.3. it means that there was an average increase of 24.6.therefore it may be concluded that the use of Moodle in learning can improve students ‘motivation and learning outcomes.
Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) tentang pelatihan penyusunan modul kondisional untuk pembelajaran luar jaringan (luring). Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan di SD Swasta Wira Mandiri Medan. Pada situasi pandemi Covid-19, SD Swasta Wira Mandiri Medan memberlakukan sistem Belajar Dari Rumah (BDR) sesuai dengan anjuran Pemerintah untuk memutuskan rantai penularan Virus Covid-19. Guru-guru SD Swasta Wira Mandiri Medan masih sangat membutuhkan pelatihan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dari rumah yang dilakukan dengan sistem online atau yang dikenal dengan istilah pembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring) dan pembelajaran luar jaringan (luring). Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal dan wawancara ditemukan permasalahan yang dialami oleh mitra yaitu: (1) Kurangnya pengetahuan guru penyusunan bahan ajar yang efektif untuk pembelajaran daring maupun luring (2) BDR dilaksanakan hanya menggunakan LKPD sederhana sehingga interaksi hanya satu arah, (3) Kurangnya pelatihan untuk pembelajaran daring ataupun panduan dalam penyusunan bahan ajar yang interaktif. Metode pendekatan yang diterapkan dalam pelaksanaan PKM ini yaitu metode pelatihan, praktik dan pendampingan. Keberhasilan pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM ini terukur dari luaran yang dihasilkan bahan ajar berupa modul bersifat kondisional yang interaktif dan artikel ilmiah.
