This study aims to determine the results of the development of Adobe Flash CS6 Learning Media on Short Story Text Learning based on local wisdom. This type of research is research and development based on the ADDIE development model. After going through the development process, a learning media produced Short Story Text based on Local community of the Batak Toba Class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Morawa consists of 4 (four) main menus namely Learning Competencies, Short Story Materials, Learning Quiz and Profile. The results showed that (1) the validation of the material experts included aspects of content Feasibility assessment with a percentage of eligibility of 92.73% with a predicate of Very Good (SB), a Presentation aspect with a percentage of eligibility of 86% with a predicate of Very Good (SB), a Language aspect with a percentage of 100% and the title of Very Good (SB), the aspect of Graphic with a percentage of 90% with the title of Very Good (SB); (2) validation of media design experts includes aspects of the assessment of Guidelines and Information with a percentage of eligibility of 100% and the predicate of Very Good (SB), Operational aspects of Software with a percentage of eligibility of 100% and the predicate of Very Good, Systematic aspects, Aesthetics and Media Principles with a percentage of 98.40% and a predicate of Very Good (SB); (3) The results of the Field Trial of Teachers and Students obtained a response of 96.15% with the criteria "Very Good"; (4) Short Text Learning outcomes before using adobe flash CS6 learning media is 51 while Short Text learning outcomes after using adobe flash CS6 learning media is 81. The difference obtained is 58.23% from before and after using adobe flash CS6 learning media. So, it can be concluded that the quality of learning media made is "very good".
Digital media or often referred to as new media (new digital media) is an electronic media stored in digital format (as opposed to analog format) which can be used as storage, transmit, and receive digitalized information. Digital media is the internet-based media using computers and sophisticated mobile phones. Digital media as internet-based media has the characteristics of (1) computer-based technology; (2) its characteristics are hybrid, not dedicated, flexible; (3) interactive potential; (4) public and private functions; (5) non-strict regulations; (6) interrelation; (7) ubiquitous / independent of location; (8) can be accessed by individuals as communicators. This development research will be carried out at the Medan Tourism Polytechnic which is located at Jalan Rumah Sakit Haji No. 12, Kenanga Baru, Percut Sei Tuan District, and Deliserdang Regency. This Polytechnic has seven Study Programs, namely one Diploma 4 (D-4) Study Program and six Diploma 3 (D-3) Study Programs. The seven study programs are (1) D-4 Hospitality Management, (2) D-3 Room Division Management, (3) D-3 Food Management Management, (4) D-3 Catering Management, (5) D-3 Patiseri Management, (6) Tourism Planning and Marketing Management, and (7) D-3 Travel Tour. This digital multimodal-based public speaking learning media is very effective to use to improve learning outcomes. The learning outcomes after applying this product were at an average of 89.68%, meanwhile the learning outcomes before the application of learning media were at an average (55.93%).
This study aims is to determine the results of the development of interactive multimedia-based anecdotal text learning modules by students State of Vocational High School 1 of Batang Toru. The module developed is in the form of a digital module. This type of research is development research based on the 4-D development model. With the subject of the trial consisting of design experts, material experts, Indonesian language teachers, and class X students of State of Vocational High School 1 Batang Toru. The results showed that (1) the validation of the material experts included the content eligibility is 88.0% in the good category, the feasibility of presenting is 93.7% learning module Very good category, Interactive Mutimedia aspects is 95.8% very good category, language assessment aspects 92, 5% category is very good, and aspects of project based learning is 83.3% Good category (2) validation of design experts includes initial design is 89.2% with good category, content design is 83.9% good category, digital module typography is 83.3 category good, and 87.5% illustration in good category. (3) limited trials obtained a score is 82.79% with good criteria. (4) Expanded trials obtained a score is 80.04% in the good category. The difference obtained was 13 from before and after using a digital module. This research has implications, namely the module developed will contribute to the practice , especially in the implementation of the learning process for teachers as additional teaching materials to provide convenience to the material being taught can be independent or classical.
This study aims to determine (1) the process of developing a collaborative Jigsaw Cooperative Jigsaw Cooperative Assurance Relevance Interest Assessment (ARIAS) learning model in writing news texts (2) the results of the validation of the collaborative jigsaw cooperative Assurance Relevance Interest Assessment Satisfaction learning model (3) ) the effectiveness of learning outcomes that apply the collaborative Assurance Relevance Interest Assessment Satisfaction (ARIAS) learning model in jigsaw Cooperative in writing news texts by students of class VIII SMP Negeri 06 Medan. The test subjects consisted of material experts, design experts, Indonesian language study teachers, and VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 06 Medan. The results of this study indicate that (1) The results of the questionnaire needs that have been distributed can result that the respondent has never used a learning model that collaborates with other models, inspires confidence and is in accordance with student interests and students' assumption that news text material is too difficult and students feel confused organizing ideas when writing begins and find it difficult to arrange the first sentence in writing. (2) validation of material experts includes and validation of learning design experts. Validation in learning design get an average score of 89.02 gets very good criteria and validation results by material experts get an average score of 83.47 gets very good criteria (3) Test the effectiveness of learning products in the form of developing learning models of assurance relevance interest assessment satisfaction (ARIAS) Collaborative Jigsaw Cooperative of respondents 32 students consisting of 2 teachers of Indonesian Language and Literature studies who received an average of 80, 15% in the "very good" category. Students after using the development of the learning model Assurance Relevance Interest Assessment Satisfaction (ARIAS) collaborative jigsaw have improved learning outcomes compared to before using the development of the learning model of collaborative jigsaw cooperative assurance relevance interest assessment satisfaction (ARIAS). Thus the learning model Assurance Relevance Interest Assessment Satisfaction (ARIAS) collaborative cooperative jigsaw is more motivating, arouse students' self-confidence, independent and arises a sense of responsibility.
The study deals with the effectiveness of teaching materials based on local culture on 7th grade students in junior high school Sipirok. The study was conducted at one of Junior High Schools 1 in Sipirok located in South Tapanuli Regency. Student learning outcomes are obtained by providing a trial test using instructional materials that have been developed which aims to see the extent to which increased student understanding of the Sipirok local culture-based text description learning material by using teaching materials developed in this study. Student learning outcomes based on pretest and posttest show the difference in the difference from pretest to posttest the score obtained 10.42 with an average pretest 75.65 on the criteria of "good" and an average posttest of 90.8 on the criteria of "very good". It can be concluded that learning using on Sipirok local culture-based text descriptions can improve student learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects especially description text material.
