The research aims to determine the effect of liquidity, activity, profitability and leverage on the financial distress of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2014-2018 period. The population is 161 companies with 805 data. The sample technique uses purposive sampling and simple random sampling to get a sample of 64 companies with 320 data, the number of samples used is 256 valid data and in accordance with the required criteria. Data analysis technique used logistic regression analysis. Based on the results of logistic regression analysis with a significance level of 5% the results of the study concluded: 1) Liquidity, activity, profitability and leverage affect the financial distress with a significance value of 0,000 < 0.05 and independent variables can hear iden the occurrence of the dependent variable of 83,8% . 2) Liquidity does not affect the financial distress with a significance value of 0.199 > 0.05. 3) Activities affect the financial distress with a significance value of 0.041 < 0.05. 4) Profitability affects the financial distress with a significance value of 0,000 < 0.05. 5) Leverage affects the financial distres with a significance value of 0,000 < 0.05.Keywords: liquidity, activity, profitability, leverage, financial distress.
Abstract:The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of Parents Attention, Learning Discipline, and Learning Motivation to learning outcomes of students at the student Financial Accounting Class XI SMK Negeri in Business and Management Department of Padang. The population in this research were 221 students of class XI accounting. The sampling technique used is proportionate random sampling so that the sample of 142 students is obtained. Research instrument used in the form of questionnaire. Data analysis in this research using Path Analysis. The results of this research indicate that parents' attention has a significant effect and contribute to the discipline of learning. Parental attentions and discipline of learning have a significant effect on learning motivation. Attention parents, learning discipline, and learning motivation have a significant effect on the results of students' financial accounting learning class XI.
The aim of this study is to analyze the interest factor of economic education students to be a teacher through Teacher Professional Education Programs. This study is quantitative descriptive study with using propotional sampling technique. The population in this reseach is 423 students of economic education. Questionnaire is used to collect the data from 81 respondents who know about Teacher Professional Education Programs (PPG) in Economic Education Program in Economic Faculty State University of Padang. The data is collected and analyzed using descriptive and factor analysis. The result of this study show that emotional factor, peer factor, society factor, factor of curiosity, the ability factor, physical factor, and the motive factor are the factor that influence the interest of economic education students to be a teacher through Teacher Professional Education Programs. Based on the result of research, recommended to students majoring in economic education to better understand and add insight into teacher professional education programs by looking for articles and information as well as sosialization from lectures about PPG.Keyword: Economic education program, interest factor, teacher profesional education, emotional, society
The contribution of Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) is very important in supporting the growth of the Indonesian economy. In the continuity of the business, surely good management is needed. Management should be able to prepare financial statements so the accounting information that contained within it can be beneficial to the business. This study aims to determine the benefits of accounting information for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Padang city. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was carried out by interviews with informants using guidelines for interviews and documentation. The informants in this study are three small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that already preparing financial statements consisting of statements of financial position and income statements. The results of the study showed that accounting information beneficial for SMEs assisting in decision making process and accountability. This study aims to identify (1) the effect of self efficacy, entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurship motivation towards student’s entrepreneurship interest (2) the influence of self efficacy towards student’s entrepreneurship interest (3) the impact of entrepreneurship education to student’s entrepreneurship interest (4) the effect of entrepreneurship motivation against student’s entrepreneurship interest. This study was conducted on students of XI class in SMK Negeri 2 Padang. The type of this study was descriptive quantitative. The population of this study were 452 students of XI class in SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Accidental Sampling technique was used in collecting the sample with 104 students. The data was primary data which collected using questionnaire. This study was used validity and reliability in data testing. In analyzing data, this study was used descriptive analysis, prerequisite test, multiple regression, simultaneous significance test (F Test), and determinant coefficient (R2) and T test. The analysis of data in this study was used SPSS version 16. The result showed (1) self efficacy, entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurship motivation have significant effect on student’s entrepreneurship interest of XI class in SMK Negeri 2 Padang, seen from sig 0,000 < 0,05 (2) self efficacy has significant influence on student’s entrepreneurship interest of XI class in SMK Negeri 2 Padang, it can be observed from sig 0,000 < 0,05 (3) entrepreneurship education has significant impact on student’s entrepreneurship interest of XI class in SMK Negeri 2 Padang, seen from sig 0,000 < 0,05 (4) entrepreneurship motivation has significant effect on students entrepreneurship interest of XI class in SMK Negeri 2 Padang, seen from sig 0,000 < 0,05.Keywords : self efficacy, entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship motivation
