This study aims to find out: 1) The difference between students 'social studies learning outcomes taught by local cultural-based learning approaches and students' social learning outcomes taught by conventional approaches; 2) Differences in social studies learning outcomes of students who have high diversity values compared to social studies learning outcomes of students who have low diversity values; and 3) Interaction between learning approaches and diversity values towards students' social studies learning outcomes. This research was conducted at 067774 Public Elementary School, Medan Johor District. The population in this study was fifth grade students consisting of 50 students. Data collection techniques in this study were the diversity of questionnaires and social studies learning achievement tests. The method used is quasi experiment with 2x2 factorial design. Data analysis techniques using two-way ANAVA at a significant level α = 0.05. The results showed that: (1) There was a difference between the learning outcomes of students who were taught with the approach to learning based on local culture and the learning outcomes of students who were taught with conventional approaches (Fcount = 17.064; sig. = 0,000 <0.05); (2) There are differences in social studies learning outcomes of students who have high diversity values compared with social studies learning outcomes of students who have low diversity values (Fcount = 10.602; sig. = 0.002 <0.05); and (3) There is an interaction between learning approaches and diversity values in influencing social studies learning outcomes (Fcount = 22.115; sig. = 0.000 <0.05). The results of this study indicate that the learning approach and diversity values influence the students' social studies learning outcomes.
AbstrakAbstrak :Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) hasil belajar IPS siswa yang diajar dengan teknik kunjungan lapangan dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar IPS siswa yang diajar dengan teknik penyajian kasus; 2) hasil belajar IPS siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar visual dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar auditori; dan 3) interaksi antara teknik pembelajaran dan gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 060954 Kecamatan Medan Marelan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V yaitu sebanyak 50 siswa sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa yang mengambil mata pelajaran IPS sebanyak 25 siswa pada kelas V/a dan sebanyak 25 siswa pada kelas V/b. Instrumen yang digunakan diantaranya yaitu angket gaya belajar dan tes hasil belajar. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Teknik analisis data menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur pada taraf sig0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) Hasil belajar IPS siswa yang diajarkan dengan teknik kunjungan lapangan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan teknik penyajian kasus (F hitung = 19,86> F tabel = 4,05), 2) Hasil belajar IPS Siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar visual lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan gaya belajar auditori (F hitung = 8,65 > F tabel = 4,05). 3) Terdapat interaksi teknik pembelajaran dan gaya belajar siswa dalam mempengaruhi hasil belajar IPS siswa (F hitung = 6,52> F tabel = 4,05). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik pembelajaran dan gaya belajar berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa. This research in meant to know The Role of Character Education as the Formation of Student Character at Grade IV of 067952 Primary School Medan in Year 2020/2021. The research is a descriptive. The population in this study is 30 student Grade IV of 067952 Primary School Medan , and sampel in research this study is 30 student Grade IV of 067952 Primary School Medan, because is the sampel technical to pose totality sampel. Data collection tools use questionnaires and documentation of student report card grades at the end of the semester on June 29. Forms of the application of character education in the 067952 elementary school of medan are Take part in the flag ceremony every Monday, Pray before doing learning activities, When with a teacher or friend do a smile, and greetings, Getting used to respecting teacher or older ones, Getting used to maintaining class cleanliness and neatness, Get used to study hard, Accustom each other to respect and love fellow friends, and Get used to being humble and always grateful. In the questionnaire there is four answer choices and scoring techniques based on Liker scale that is one to four. From the research result obtained analysis data 15 statements with the value of calculation as much 42,45% which states that role of character education will influence the formation of student character and in the good category. So that character education at the 067952 Elementary School of Medan is good.
<div class="WordSection1"><p><strong>Abstrak: </strong>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan manajemen kepala sekolah dengan kompetensi profesional guru di sekolah dasar negeri se-kec. Sei Tuan Kota Medan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan expost facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh sekolah dasar negeri se-kec. sei tuan yang berjumlah 66 sekolah. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik tes yang di dukung dengan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data dalam mengetahui kemampuan manajemn kepala sekolah dan kompetensi profesional guru digunakan teknik analisa data deskriptif untuk mengetahui hubungan manajemen kepala sekolah dengan kompetensi profesional guru diolah menggunakan teknik koefisien korelasi dengan bantuan SPSS for Windows 16.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut: (1) kemampuan manajemen kepala sekolah yang terdiri dari aspek perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengarahan dan pengawasan dalam nilai 9,25, (2) kompetensi profesional guru yang terdiri dari aspek menguasai materi mata pelajaran, mengasai SK dan KD pada mata pelajaran yang diampu, mengembangkan materi pembelajran, mengembangkan sikap keprofesionalan dan memanfaatkan TIK dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 11,72 ,(3) hubungan antara kemampuan manajemen kepala sekolah dengan kompetensi profesional guru menunjukkan bahwa faktor kemampuan manajemen kepala sekolah memberikan sumbangan positif sebesar 0,417, dapat diartikan bahwa 41% kompetensi profesional guru dipengaruhi oleh manajemen kepala sekolah. Hal itu juga dapat diartikan bahwa sebesar 59% merupakan pengaruh dari variabel lain yang tidak diteliti seperti kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan profesionalitasnya, ketersediaan fasilitas pendukung yang dibutuhkan dalam proses pembelajaran, dukungan moril dan material dari kepemimpinan sekolah.</p></div>
Students consider Islamic religious lessons unimportant and difficult, so their learning motivation is low. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study was class VII SMPN 38 Medan Marelan which amounted to 147 students. The sampling technique in this study used the Slovin formula. The sampling technique used was random sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 99 people. Data analysis technique using r product moment. The results showed that in the calculation of the r product moment, the value of the r count is 0.353. This means if the value of rxy 0.353 > r table 0.1646 then the first hypothesis is accepted. That is, there is an influence between the religious behaviors of parents on the motivation to learn PAI in seventh-grade students of SMPN 38 Medan Marelan. There is a positive and significant influence on parents’ religious behavior on students' obedience to worship. This can be seen from the results of the correlation calculation using r product moment, the value of r count is 0.400. Based on the r-value obtained, it is necessary to consult the product-moment correlation coefficient in the table with N = 99 both at a significant level of 5%, a value of 0.1646 is obtained, and at a significant level of 1%, a value of 0.2312 is obtained. This means if the value of rxy 0.400 > r table 0.1646 then the second hypothesis is accepted.
