Kombucha which is efficacious as a source of antioxidants, antibacterial, and anticancer, and alcohol content below 1% deserves to be developed as a raw material for halal drugs and cosmetics in the perspective of biotechnology that underlies the bioinformatics side and gene expression as the initial topic in designing it. The purpose of this review study is to further ensure the feasibility of kombucha as a raw material for halal cosmetics from various supporting scientific findings. The results of the study show that the potential of kombucha as a source of antioxidants, antibacterial, and anticancer agents requires further modification as an opening to prove that it is halal in silico, in vitro, and in vivo from a biotechnology perspective. The development of kombucha as a raw material for halal-standard medicines and cosmetics requires serious research collaboration from biotechnologists engaged in medicine, pharmacy, agriculture, nutrition science, and food technology.
ABSTRAKRokok atau gulungan tembakau yaitu salah satu produk yang peringkat konsumsinya relative banyak di masyarakat. Rokok juga masih menjadi masalah dan prioritas nasional daripada upaya untuk mengatasinya karena melibatkan berbagai aspek masalah dalam kehidupan, yaitu aspek ekonomi, sosial politik dan terutama aspek kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan, Jenis Kelamin dan persepsi gambar kemasan rokok dengan perilaku merokok pada siswa Madrasah Aliyah RM Fatahillah. Penelitian menggunakan metode cross sectional yang melibatkan 45 responden dengan menggunakan total sampling, penelitian ini dilakukan dalam satu bulan pada bulan Agustus 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan Analisis bivariat dengan uji Chi-Square, dengan membagikan angket dalam bentuk kuesioner. Hasil uji statistik menunjukan p value = 0,025, pada α = 0,05 (p ≤ α) maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan tentang bahaya merokok dengan perilaku merokok pada siswa. Hasil uji statistik diperoleh p value = 0,832, pada α = 0,05 (p > α) maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara jenis kelamin tentang bahaya merokok dengan perilaku merokok pada siswa. Hasil uji statistik diperoleh p value = 0,014, pada α = 0,05 (p ≤ α) maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara persepsi tentang gambar kemasan rokok dengan perilaku merokok pada siswa.Kata kunci : Tingkat pengetahuan, Jenis Kelamin, Persepsi ABSTRACTCigarette or tobacco rolls are one of the products whose consumption ranking is relatively much in the community. Cigarette is also still a problem and national priorities rather than efforts to overcome it because it involves various aspects of problems in life, namely economic aspects, socio-political and especially health aspects. This research aims to determine the relationship of knowledge level, gender and the perception of cigarette packaging image with smoking behavior in students of Madrasah Aliyah RM Fatahillah. The study used cross sectional methods involving 45 respondents using total sampling, this study was conducted in one month in August 2019. This study used sufficient analysis with Chi-Square test, by distributing questionnaires in the form of a questionnaire. Statistical test results show P value = 0.025, at α = 0.05 (P ≤ α) it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between knowledge about the danger of smoking with smoking behavior in students. The results of the statistical test obtained p value = 0.832, at α = 0.05 (> α) It can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between gender about the danger of smoking with smoking behavior in students. <p>Pandemi <em>Covid-19</em> yang awal kemunculannya di China pada akhir tahun 2019 sampai saat ini jumlah kasusnya masih terus bertambah di seluruh dunia, tidak terkecuali di Indonesia. Sejak terdeteksi kasus pertama pada bulan Maret 2020 sampai saat ini penambahan kasus masih terjadi hampir di seluruh kabupaten/kota di Indonesia. Tercatat sudah belasan ribu jiwa yang meninggal dunia akibat <em>Covid-19</em> di Indonesia. Selain itu juga pandemi Covid-19 telah memporak- porandakan perekonomian dunia khususnya Indonesia. Hal ini harus segera ditangani dengan segera dan tepat agar penularan Covid-19 di masyarakat dapat segera terkendali. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Perbedaan Efektivitas Pendidikan Kesehatan Antara Media Video Dan Media Leaflet Terhadap Peningkatan Pengetahuan dan Sikap Pencegahan <em>Covid-19 </em>di MAN 1 Pandeglang Tahun 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan quasi eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah <em>Pre test and Post tes two group. </em>Sebanyak 240 subjek yang diambil dari MAN 1 Pandeglang<em>, </em>117 siswa sebagai kelompok penyuluhan menggunakan media video dan 117 siswa sebagai kelompok penyuluhan menggunakan media <em>leaflet</em>. Masing-masing kelompok diberi kuesioner <em>pretest</em>. Selanjutnya, diberi eksperimen/intervensi penyuluhan, kemudian diberikan kuesioner <em>posttest</em>. Analisis data masing-masing kelompok dengan uji t-berpasangan dan uji <em>wilcoxon</em>. Sedangkan analisis data antar kelompok dengan uji t-tidak berpasangan. . Berdasarkan analisis bivariat hasil uji statistik pada kelompok video didapatkan <em>p-value</em> 0,008 untuk pengetahuan dan <em>p-value</em> 0,315 untuk sikap. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh penyuluhan dengan video dalam peningkatan pengetahuan responden. Pada kelompok leaflet didapatkan <em>p-value</em> 0,000 untuk pengetahuan dan didapatkan nilai 0,048 untuk sikap. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh penyuluhan dengan media leaflet terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap tentang <em>Covid-19</em>. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ada perbedaan efektifitas pendidikan kesehatan dengan media video dan leaflet dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa MAN 1 Pandeglang.</p>
TRAINING ON MAKING TELANG FLOWER KOMBUCHA FERMENTED SOAP AS RAW MATERIAL FOR HALAL AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY COSMETICS FOR 5TH SEMESTER PHARMACY STUDENTS IN AN EFFORT TO IMPROVE CONVENTIONAL PHARMACEUTICAL BIOTECHNOLOGY SKILLS. The efficacy of kombucha as antibacterial, antioxidant, and anticancer is very open to opportunities to be developed as raw materials for drugs and cosmetics that are environmentally friendly and halal in the perspective of biotechnology. The purpose of this training is to provide the latest insight for 5th semester pharmacy students regarding the potential of telang flower kombucha as a raw material for halal and environmentally friendly cosmetics, thereby increasing conventional pharmaceutical biotechnology skills. The methods used are Preparation of the Training Place, Filling in Attendance List of Participants and Questionnaires, Opening of Training Events, and Implementation and Training of Making Telang Flower Kombucha Fermented Soap. Based on the results of both training activities carried out in classes A, B, D, and E, 5th semester Pharmacy Students, Faculty of Health Pharmacy, Mathla'ul Anwar University, Banten regarding Training on Making Fermented Soap Kombucha Telang Flowers as Raw Material for Halal and Environmentally Friendly Cosmetics to Pharmacy Students Smester 5 In an Effort to Improve Conventional Pharmaceutical Biotechnology Skills, the majority of students do not know much about the potential of kombucha fermentation of telang flower which has potential as a raw material for halal and environmentally friendly cosmetics. This is because they are more familiar with fermented kombucha as a functional drink, cosmetic raw materials from fermented kombucha in the form of bar soap and facial toner.
