The article aims to develop recommendations for improving universities' innovation management, their financial regulation and influence on the pedagogical process. The authors examined the essence of innovation and innovation in the education system, clearly presented their classification and methods of modernization, analyzed modern problems of management and financing of innovation in education. The authors contributed to managing innovation processes in the education system and improved the generalized model of the innovation process in the education system. As an improvement in the foundations of innovation management, the authors proposed the joint influence of the laws of the course of innovation processes, principles, stages, and functions of innovative processes that determine the direction of management activities at all stages. To improve financing by innovation, the authors empirically determined which tools are the most effective and efficient. The authors used the methods of expert assessments to present their proposals visually. At the same time, the authors emphasize the importance of using the synergistic effect here, too. The rest of the instruments will only enhance the effectiveness of the priority instrument for financing innovations in the education system. The systematic use of other tools is no less compelling. The proposed ways of improvement will allow universities to manage innovations and their financing more effectively.
The purpose of this article was to identify the features and relationships between different stages of formation of digital competence of teachers in terms of distance learning. The research methodology is based on a statistical analysis of data from a survey of 38081 teachers using a structured OECD interview (2018a) on the development of digital competencies. The study found that courses on the use of ICT for teaching were included in the formal education of teachers in 63.1% of cases. 58% of teachers are well prepared for the use of ICT in education, while 42% of teachers answered a low level of preparation for the use of ICT in education. The practical value of the study lies in identifying the features of the formation of digital competence: the importance of training programs for the development of digital skills.
Informatization of the educational process, in general, and the educational system of the higher educational establishments, in particular, is one of the most significant tasks of restructuring and shaping the education system in accordance with society requirements. Educational institutions nowadays have an opportunity to disseminate new material in a way that responds to the unique needs of each student thanks to using computer networks and online technologies. The purpose of the academic paper is to identify and provide a brief assessment of the primary trends in implementing information technologies in higher educational institutions (HEIs) in terms of the specifics of their application in the educational process. Methodology. In the course of the research, analytical and bibliographic methods. At the same time, induction, deduction, analysis, synthesis of information, system-structural, comparative, logical-linguistic methods, abstraction, and idealization were applied to study and process data. By the way, the research authors also conducted a questionnaire in online mode. Results. Based on the research results, the primary and most significant theoretical aspects of using information tools in higher educational institutions, as well as the standpoints of scientists and heads of departments of higher educational institutions on key aspects of the issue outlined.
