Social media can be understood that media is a tool used in communication activities. The dissemination of learning information is something that must be considered so that learning activities become more optimal and the objectives of learning can be achieved. The dissemination of information has so far experienced obstacles due to limited communication space. Various social media features used by the community, especially student students, to get learning materials in online learning activities. Fake news or hoaxes are now widely encountered on a daily basis and often even use provocative sensational titles. Based on that description, the problem is what efforts must be made in order to prevent the spread of hoax information with the knowledge and understanding of high school students in filtering information through social media. This service activity provides education to high school students about the importance of knowledge and understanding in preventing the spread of hoax information through social media for everyone. The service location will be carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Palu with the target of school students. The method of implementation is by lectures and discussions.
Bawaslu is an institution that is given the authority to resolve election / election administration violations. The nature of Bawaslu's decisions and recommendations for administrative violations must be followed up by the KPU and its officials, this is confirmed in the provisions of Article 462 of Law No. the administration issued by Bawaslu is not obeyed by the institution implementing the decision / recommendation. Identification of problems: first, what is the nature of mandatory norms in the provisions of the Election / Pilkada Law? Related to follow-up on decisions / recommendations of Bawaslu Administrative Violations? Second, how is the Compliance with the Decision / Recommendation of Administrative Violation of Bawaslu? Third, what factors influence compliance with Bawaslu Administrative Violation Decisions / Recommendations? This research is a normative juridical study with a focus on analyzing decisions / recommendations for administrative violations of Bawaslu. in this study using a statutory approach, a case approach, and a conceptual approach. The data sources used are primary, secondary and tertiary data. The research results and conclusions. First, the "mandatory" norm in the construction of Article 462 of the Election Law and Article 139 paragraph (2) of the Election Law is imperative (order / force). Selama ini masih banyak masyarakat (konsumen) khususnya mahasiswa di Kota Palu yang belum mengetahui tentang regulasi yang mengatur dan melindungi hak-hak mereka sebagai konsumen. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya pengetahuan dan pemahaman untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, agar kedepannya masyarakat terhadap hukum semakin baik, dan pada akhirnya dapat meminimalisir tindakan pelaku usaha yang dapat merugikan konsumen. Pengabdian ini laksanakan yang menghadorkan mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam Ikatan Pemuda Pelajar Mahasiswa Kabupaten Luwu Timur (IPPMK-Lutim). Dengan metode yang dilakukan yakni metode ceramah dan diskusi dengan mahasiswa yang hadir. Hubungan hukum dalam perlindungan konsumen merupakan hubungan hukum segitiga dengan menempatkan konsumen dan pelaku usaha sebagai pelaku utama dalam proses transaksi barang dan/atau jasa. Hubungan ini dalam ranah hukum privat dimana kedua belah pihak memiliki kedudukan yang setara. Hubungan hukum terjadi berdasarkan asas kebebasan berkontrak dan asas konsensualitas. Selain konsumen dan pelaku usaha, terdapat pihak ketiga yaitu pemerintah yang berperan sebagai regulator dalam mengatur pola hubungan hukum antara konsumen dengan pelaku usaha. Oleh karena itu, mahasiswa dipelolopri sebagai motivator yang diharapkan akan dapat lebih paham dalam regulasi perlinddungan konsumen terlebih dalam kondisi pandemi ini.
