IMPROVEMENT OF ABILITY TO CREATE A LESSON PLANNING (LP) BASED ON SCIENTIFIC FOR PHYSICS TEACHERS.The three main tasks of teachers are planning, implementing and evaluating learning. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of prospective physics teacher planning in preparing the scientific based LP. The research method used is a descriptive method. The subjects of this study are 9 physics semester VI academic year 2015/2016 in a micro-teaching course. The research instrument used scalar assessment with rubrics of LP display results. Data analysis techniques used descriptive qualitative and quantitative. Based on the result of research, the average value of LP 1 is 78,97 with a good category, 2nd RPP equal to 84,52 with very good category and the third LP is 96,00 with a very good category.Tiga tugas utama guru yaitu melakukan perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan perencanaan bagi calon guru fisika dalam menyusun RPP berbasis saintifik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 9 mahasiswa pendidikan fisika semester VI tahun akademik 2015/2016 pada mata kuliah Micro Teaching. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan penilaian skala disertai rubrik dari hasil tampilan RPP. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. This study aims to determine the improvement of problem-solving skills using problem-based digital learning module. The research method used is quasi-experiment design with non-equivalent control group design. The sampling technique used is the purposive sampling of 60 subjects with 30 for the experimental class and 30 for the control class. The research result indicates the learning process both classes runs well. It is proven by the significance of the hypothesis test result which is less than α (0,005) < 0,05). It can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. It means that there are differences in students' problem-solving skills in the experiment class and control class. This proves the treatment in the experimental class using problem-based digital learning module integrated with religious values can influence students' problem-solving skills better than the PowerPoint learning media used in the control class.
Light Dependent Resistance (LDR) is one type of resistor whose resistance value is affected by the intensity of light received by it. This study aims to measure the amount of resistance in each color of light measured in the LDR. The research method is done by making a measurement device in which a light source parallel to the LDR is placed, where the color layer is inserted which will change the white light from the lamp to the color light according to the color layer used. The variation in distance (x) between the lamp and LDR causes greater resistance. The results of this study indicate that 1) the distance of the light source is inversely proportional to the intensity of light, 2) The distance of the light source is directly proportional to the magnitude of resistance, 3) The intensity of light is inversely proportional to resistance, and 4) the dominant large resistance value is in the dominant blue light the value of large light intensity is in the color of yellow light.
Science learning essentially requires students to cultivate curiosity so that it triggers to conduct investigations by doing science activities. The purpose of this research is to know the profile of student activity in learning basic concept of IPA through contextual teaching and learning approach (CTL) with group investigation (GI) model.The subject of this research is Program of primary teacher education UMMGL students consisting of two classes with 83 people. The research method is descriptive. Data collection techniques were conducted by setting the focus of research, selecting informants as data sources, collecting data, assessing data quality, analyzing data, interpreting data, and drawing conclusions on the findings.From the research results can be concluded that the profile of student activity in learning basic concept of science through CTL approach with the average GI model is in very good category.
The 21st century demands critical thinking skills, problem solving, and communication skills, so physics education students must be prepared to have these skills in the current industrial 4.0 era. These skills can be trained and developed through Higher Order Thinking Laboratory (HOT-LAB) activities. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the HOT-LAB laboratory type on the improvement of critical thinking skills on the concept of magnetic fields. This research uses One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The instrument uses questions of practical understanding and understanding of 10 questions. The results of data analysis showed that the average N-Gain score for the experimental class was 45.3 and the control class was 35.7. The use of HOTLAB in a real blended virtual laboratory has moderate effectiveness to improve Critical Thinking Skills on the subject of magnetic field.
