Individual dispositions and personal factors play a role in determining the strategy to cope with mental health problems. Individuals with type A personality often show greater effort to improve their condition when experiencing stress. The study used 75 participants all gained through convenience sample ages 18-35 years old most of whom were university students in Kupang. The study used the General Help-Seeking Questionnaire (GHSQ), Ways of Coping, and stress-prone type A personality test to investigate different coping strategies of individuals with type A personality when seeking help for mental health problems. Data analysis using Pearson's product-moment correlation shows significant findings to support hypotheses that coping strategies are related to certain help-seeking behavior in individuals with type A personality (p=<0.05; 2-tailed). The awareness of important roles of personality tendencies when seeking help for mental health problems will impact on matters related to stress-reduction efforts to achieve mental health and well-being.
This research is a correlational study using a quantitative approach. This study correlates variables of moral development with prosocial behavior. Moral development is a development that related to one's ability to judge what should be done and not done in accordance with the norms that develop in society and prosocial behavior is behavior that sharing, helping, honest, generous and behavior considering the rights and welfare of others. The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is a relationship between moral development and prosocial behavior in late adolescents in the Oesapa Village of Kupang. This study involved 360 late adolescents. The research sampling technique uses random sampling techniques. Hypothesis testing uses Pearson product-moment correlation to examine the relationship of variables and their level of significance, furthermore, the results of the analysis obtained are correlation coefficients -0.054 with significance showing results of 0.303 (p> 0.05) which means there is no relationship between moral development and prosocial behavior in adolescents finally in Oesapa Village, Kupang.
Abstract.
Public behavior influences the spread of the new Corona virus desease 2019 (COVID-19). Human behavior is influenced by human knowledge. The objective of the research is to asses the knowledge of COVID-19 among the community. This research is an online cross-sectional survey. The questionnaire consisted of 16 myth statements. Sample of this research used convenience sample consists of 130 people. Data processed by percentage. Result: percentage of 6 statements above 50 percent as facts
